Product Description

POWDERPUFF MIX ASTER SEED Callistephus chinensis Excellent as Cut Flowers ~~!! Powderpuff Aster mix is a double flower variety with blooms growing up to 3" across. The plants grow only 2-3 feet tall and are wilt resistant. Powderpuff mixture has a great variety of colors including pink, purple, red, white. Aster works great to add color to any area or to cover any ground. Planting: Aster is an annual flower that does well with cool, moist summer and flowers in the fall. Small seeds can usually be just sprinkled over top of the soil while larger seeds can be planted 1/4-1/2" deep. Place seeds in full sun to partial shade areas. Aster is a good plant to start indoors then transplant after it becomes established. Germination:Seeds usually take 7 to 14 days to sprout. Transplant:When danger of frost is over, transplant to garden as close as 6" apart. Soil and Light: Keep soil evenly moist but not soggy. Aster will need plenty of water during hot spells. Plant will self-seed for the next season.
