Every Advantage Counts
Tournament gamers and leaderboard champs know: every advantage counts. The fraction of a second it takes for your controller to register a precisely timed shot could be the difference between first place and fail. The slip of a hand could mean an unwanted button push breaking an otherwise perfectly executed combo. You can’t leave these things up to chance. You need equipment worthy of your skill. No compromise. No exceptions. We get it, and we have gone to great lengths to give you everything you need and then some. We consulted pro gamers. We ran extensive tests. We dissected the best of everything on the market. Then we designed a brand-new, end-all controller from the ground up. High Grade Materials- Delivers improved accuracy and longevity.

LED Lights, for show nothing more (can be turned off)
Buttons and Trigger feel firm, not slushy like MS's
Thumb-sticks are comfortable, BUT look at CON's too
Two different grips (don't know why anyone would use the glossy one?)
D-PAD is horrible for fighter games, 1/2 circle and 1/4 circles rarely register
Thumb-Sticks feel good, but the concave aspect is too large, causing thumb to slip when strafing back and forth or aiming quickly. Inner concave is as wide as the standard MS thumb_stick width. (causes jumpy actions back & forth, hard to aim and zoom in one motion, very FIRM click required)
Extra packaging just to charge more money, I travel all the time but don't use
any carrying cases.
Thumb-sticks are Lock Tight'ed into place, can't remove to attempt some adjustments. Also, requires the justom 3 star head to take apart controller, the same as the Wii console.
All said and done, when I get time to take the controller apart and make a different thumb-stick I'll love this controller. I don't play fighters so the D-PAD issue doesn't matter to me. The aiming is sexy smooth while moving in one direction, but rapidly changing is when the large concave jumps around.
-Sturdy. The analogs appeared to be calibrated with an adequate stiffness (so no movement of the analogs without it properly registering in the game).
-Swap in swap out handle grips. They are a nice feature. But literally... Pointless. The only difference when attaching the shell grips is needing to attach them to feel a different texture under your hands, which by the way, is hard plastic despite what the description in the products info can state otherwise. So there's no point to this option unless you prefer "smooth" or "ribbed" under your palms.
-The USB fit.
-The carry case. It's a nice place to put the controller away.
-No silicone grips fit the analog sticks.
-No extenders will fit the analog sticks.
-No difference with attachable handle grips.
-Nothing special about controller.
-the "back button" sticks under the controller casing when pressed.
This is a controller that offers nothing but swappable handle textures and a case. You can get more for your money with either HORI controllers or (shaking my head right now) Sabertooth controllers which are widely know for analog drift and ghosting (I'm not recommending Sabertooth controllers, I'm saying for the. 80 bucks they are running at this date you'll have more options. But not saying they are of better quality).
This controller is expensive because of it's packaging and extra parts, which are of no functionality and just cost more money. It was given two stats because it's highly overpriced, greatly exaggerated, and has unnecessary things that serve no purpose.
-Triggers don't feel "mushy" like the standard MS controller
-Lights (although they serve no purpose)
-D-Pad is O.K. better that M.S., but bad for fighting games
-Cable Length (too short, much shorter than the Onza)
-Thumb-Sticks are too large.
I am a competitive Halo player, but I do play CoD and Gears of War every once in a while. If you've ever played Halo, then you know: 4 shots to the body, 1 to the head for the DMR,and BR. Problem is, my thumbs slip when trying to aim precisely for the head, causing me to miss.
Also, I would prefer if they just got rid of the interchangeable grips (the matte ones should be default) and the carrying case, and made the price more competitive.
Update: My right stick drifts to the left, but only in Borderlands 2, and Fallout: New Vegas. Other games seem to realize that the movement is small enough to ignore. Some may say it is the games fault, but I think the controller shouldn't drift at all.
Update: The 2.5mm port where you plug in the cable stopped working, and I couldn't use a mic with only this controller, but then a week later, it started working again.
After all this, I would recommend a Razer Sabertooth, but MAKE SURE TO GET A WARRANTY ON IT, they break.
