I have a Toro E24 Carefree Recycler cordless mulching mower that came with four 6V/12Ah Yuasa NPX-50 batteries (also used in UPS units). The 12V/12Ah Power-Sonic PS-12120 is exactly the same size and spec as two of those batteries, and is cheaper than buying two equivalent Power-Sonic cells. This battery has the 1/4" F2 connector which perfectly fits the original cables. Two PS-12120 batteries in serial are working perfectly to power the mower.

My original batteries lasted for over 12 years. I discovered why when I accidentally left the mower unplugged this past Winter and the batteries died; if you leave lead-acid batteries in a constant state of charge (that is, plugged in when not using the device!) they last for a much longer time. The Power-Sonic website also presents this information in the battery specifications. I've also found that sharpening a dull mower blade makes the battery provide a much longer run time.

If you need even more run time, the mower is able to fit two Power-Sonic PS-12180 12V/17Ah or Yuasa NP17-12 packs by reconfiguring the internal foam block and harness.

I used this battery to replace the Peg Perego battery that came in my childs John Deere Gator toy. It works perfectly, is the exact same size, lasts significantly longer than Peg's battery and is way cheaper! Just pop the top off the old Peg Perego battery by prying the plastic handle off both sides of the batter, unplug the wires and reinstall them into the new battery. It took less than a minute with a standard screwdriver.

Stay away from this one if you actually want PowerSonic PS-12120 batteries. I received "Power Pile" batteries instead of what I ordered. Yes, by spec they seem to be almost a direct replacement, but I ordered what I did for a reason. I have used PowerSonic batteries many times in the past and trust them. Who knows what the results will be with "Power Pile". I was under the gun to get a scooter back in operation for an elderly family member, so I installed these and now hope for the best. Also, the battery connectors on what I received are not a direct match for the PowerSonic model, so I had to use adapters to make the connections properly. I will not be buying from this vendor again as I feel advertising and selling one item then delivering something altogether different is unethical.

The battery fit the package snugly. The top of the battery butted up against the carton. The battery terminals were missing the red and black plastic caps. As result the terminals were bent down. The less important sides had peanuts. They need a larger carton so the top and bottom could also be protected by bubble wrap or peanuts.

The battery was the correct size and shipped promptly but did not have the connectors in the correct place nor were they the correct type. When I tried to return the batteries, I had to go through the vendor and not through Amazon. It took longer than usual to get an exchange. This was not my usual Amazon experience.

First off my package was lost in the mail, claiming wrong address, I emailed the seller and they sent me a replacement and it came in a week and a half (they were very nice and easy to work with). The problem with the battery is it does not hold a charge for very long at all, maybe an hour, where as the old one lasted four hours minimum before it was shot and I bought this as a replacement. Looks like I will be out looking for a new one before long :-( Not happy

SHort story, I busted my legs and knee's very badly in sports. I was pretty sure I was indesctructable until i fell at 28. Now with a son who still wants to look up at me I had my knee replaced (it's a HORROR) and couldn't ride a bike due to pressure on knee cap. A 500w 36v electric bike kit of subpar quality was ordered, enhanced and fitted. Then the proper batteries were ordered, THESE. Made in Vietnam is not CHina and it shows as they dont show pressure cracking UPG batteries show.

Sum: Can get up to 26mph easy with my steel bike and 190lb body. If I peddel I can get it faster, but from a dead stop up the hill, I DON'T HAVE TO!!! After driving it around for an hour and a couple miles I can back to the house and measured the batteries to be down in the 40% range, reading 34.6v.

Powersonic batteries compared to others work better. Not much more you need to know.

Purchased 26 months ago, still going strong. I use this wherever I need a decent amount of 12v power - it runs homemade LED camping lanterns, serves as a backup for 12v systems at my off-grid cabin. I even jump started my Honda CRV with it once.
