Woefully Inadequate,

This book should be titled "PPE Made Confusing". The author attempts to simplfy the selection of PPE, but seriously misses the objective. The book is short on details and is already out of date due to the significant changes in PPE over the last few years. The author may have been an expert at one time, but I certainly expected much more from an "international expert". A revised edition might be more useful, but in my opinion there is much more useful data available from PPE manufacturers and standards organizations such as the NFPA. I would not recommend this book.

Lots of "Matter of Fact" information. Great that it's point form, but not enough explanation or pictures to go along with what the items actually are. Too much guessing of what is being described.
