I don't know why tub/shower combos don't have this but they should. I searched for this product at all the local big box hardware stores and other places but couldn't find it. Thankfully I found it here on Amazon and now my kids don't leave a big water puddle on the floor after a shower.

The best one of its kind,

This splashguard is not only functional but attractive in appearance. Unlike its competitors, this one does not appear to be a cheap triangle of plastic. It's inward curve also re-routes the water back into the bathtub. It was easy to install. One suggestion though, secure with caulk, under the base first. Allow this to dry for a few hours, then apply the final bead of caulk around edges. Otherwise the splashguard moves, which makes the outer bead of caulk harder to apply and unattractive. The side edge is hollow; with the proper tools, this edge could be trimmed to help adjust for non- 90 degree/ "true" walls. Jackie

The splash - guards were well made, simple, and perfect for the job. Use a good mold and mildew resistant latex white caulking and complete in two steps. Kit includes two splash guards - one for each end of the bath/shower - but no caulking.

Well, the item would work if it fit,
My tub has a curved corner going up the wall, so the splash guard won't sit/fit right. Just a word or caution to make sure that you have a true 90 degree "corner" where the tub meets the wall.

nice product,
The splash guard works great if you can get it installed properly. If the wall and tub are NOT at 90 degrees, it can be a bit tricky as the adhesive caulk takes forever to dry, as you have to put a large quantity of caulking on the base. If the wall and the tub are not at 90 degrees, do not try to seal it in place all at once. It took me three applications of caulking to get it sealed. If this is the case, protect the guard with plastic for at least 3 days.Once it is installed and secure, it really keeps the water off the floor when the shower curtain is properly closed. I am really happy with the results, even though ot took awhile to install.

I put the splash guard on my tub, warned my family to be careful with the shower curtain and all has been well.
