Came as promised. Built in level which is nice. Mounted quickly and securely. My only disappointment is that is it sold by Cheetah Mounts which has a good name for itself but the mount does not have anything on it to identify it as from them. Looks like anyone else's mount (it's made in china so it probably is). Amazon's price was cheaper than anywhere else I found. Their tech support answered quickly and was very friendly. All hardware included. Very nice mount, it's holding my new SONY 46" Bravia XBR.

They sent the wrong model number! It did have more adjustments but it was also larger & stood out from the wall farther. I sent a email and some called & left me a message stating that they would send me the correct model. It never came! I called and spoke with someone at cheetah, but he didn't know what was going on. I called 2 other times back and left a message but no responce! I guess I'm suck with the one they sent!

The APTMP2B tilt mount is a great product at a great price. It comes totally assembled and is easy to install. Just make sure you get what you order. I was first shipped the APTMM2B which is a much different product that requires much more assembly, is more complicated to install and doesn't have the dual crossbars. However, customer service was great about correcting the mistake quickly.

This is a great flat panel mount.

The good,
Features include (Brushed Silver) Heavy steel brackets (1/8" thick) and Steel tubes (a.k.a. rails). Tilt features up and down movement (around 2 inches up or down). Left to right panel movement (around 8 inches or so).
Black anodized steel mounting plate with Stud mounting holes (Two rows) approx 6" 12" 22" 26" using 1" slots.
All the needed hardware and instructions are included.
The build quality is excellent and you can disassemble the whole unit, if you decide to store it, sell it. ship it. (U get the idea)

The Bad,
The tilt feature isn't a whole lot, 2 or so inches up & down is not much to play with.
The stud holes on the mounting plate are great for older houses with building codes that use 12" stud placement,
But... The newer building code uses 18" between studs, So If your studs don't fit this criteria then your gonna have to drill new holes, or this may not be for you.
The hardware is adequate for the job but no washers, I recommend longer screws for the studs though (1 1/2 #6 wood screws) Oh and washers too (about 8 should do it).
The Instructions very little of it could be better.

The Ugly, (Hmmm, never-mind)
This revue should be for 4 1/2 stars simply for the bad job the manufacturer did with the packaging. When I received the mount there was very little packing materiel inside the box, so the contents shifted around during transit (UPS).
This led to the side brackets being bent inwards, still usable but they were bent in about 1/2" on both sides.
Not being one to return it and reship it again (My 32" Flat Panel was getting restless, or was it just me) I decided to rebend the brackets back to thier original shape. (Lock pliers, Vice grip or clamps, Level, Small bits of cloth to protect the metal surfaces)
Luckily the whole bracket comes apart nicely, (Just twist off the caps on the ends of the round tubes) So I was able to bend the metal plates back to normal without having the tubes in the way.

Concussion,
Why go through the trouble fixing this rather then returning it. Well if you have the proper tools it's not that hard, this is probably only a one shoot deal because most of you should receive this without ANY packaging problems anyway.

This is a very solid & well made bracket, it looks great (though you'll never see it behind you TV), it's more then enough to hold up a 50" Flat Panel.
It's well worth the money, this would cost over $100 at any retail store (I've checked) do yourself a favor order this online and save yourself 75.00 bucks.

Very 'clean' design, robust construction.For me it worked well (bought 2 of these).
Value for the money, excellent.Also need to mention the promptitude of delivery.

Recieved faster than the scheduled date from amazon which is cool. looks very nice stainless and a nice paint job. came with plenty of useless mounting hardware, i went to lowes and bought some higher quality stuff to put into the studs in my wall. it makes everything a nice distance from the wall so you can reach behind and plug things in. Its nice that you can slide your tv on the bars to get it positioned right.

It doesn't have slots for mounting to 26" studs which my old house has, i drilled my own holes in the back plate.
The tilt mechanism doesn't hold up my 55" lcd, if i cant figure out how to put nuts and bolts in where the nobs go ill just cut a short piece of wood to prop it up.

If you don't mind having to fidle with things to get them working right this mount is fine but if you want it to work as designed spend some more money on a nicer mount.

This mount is heavy , lot of steel !! very sturdy , when installed It project about 6" from wall For 39 $ it is a good deal . The lock after hanging the tv is not that great it could have been better . TV can be slided side to side but it does not allow tiltimg side by side . There is some room for up down tilting . Recommend this product to any one who looks for strong mount, needed some flexibility for horizontal positioning . Comes with many mounting screws . Make sure you install this to studs .

I used this wall mount to place my 47" Samsung over the fireplace and due to the the size/placing of the studs, there wasn't enough space to center the Samsung correctly. So I purchased a wider wall mount from monoprice and got better results. I then tried to wall mount my 40" Samsung in the game room with the cheetah mount, but the mounting wholes were only 17 inches wide while the wall studs where 22 inches apart. To put it simply, always go for the widest possible mount to help with stud and centering issues. This one is much too small.
