This book has emotional gymnastics that seem to be very feminine.
The talented surgeon and his female counterpart; the cruel rich man and his model wife; the rich doctor and the widow of his cancer patient... we have teams of trade off stories. For me it isn't a kind of novel I really like, but it is well written for the type, if too cinderella for my taste. |
