This is a smart charger that has a lot of functionality. The battery compartment is spring loaded to accept different sizes of Li-ion batteries and it even includes two screw in spacers that can adapt the charger to 10440/16340 size batteries. I use mine to charge the two 18650 Orbtronic (Panasonic NCR 18650A cells) batteries that came with the kit. Please view my attached video to see the unit and also some performance data.

The unit comes with:

* The charger
* An AC wall plug adapter
* A car plug charger cable for mobile use while traveling
* Two adapter buttons to use for smaller size batteries
* Two 18650 Orbtronic (Panasonic NCR 18650A ) batteries
* An instruction manual
* A warranty card with a 24 month warranty that also tells you how to register your charger and get an additional 6 months warranty.

The unit is a smart charger and it has the following extensive features:

* It can charge one or two batteries as the same time.
* It features a USB output to charge your USB powered devices that draw less than 500 mADC at 5 VDC. This function only uses the single battery located in position 1 of the charger (Position 2 is not used for this feature). There will be no USB output if the charger is powered by a charging cable. When the USB charging output is working the USB charging LED indicator (Center position) turns red. The charging will stop when the phone is charged, your battery voltage drops below 2.8 VDC, your battery is removed, or when you plug in the AC or car charger,
* The charger monitors the polarity of the battery, whether the voltage is over or under limits and improper operation caused by short circuits.

When my package with charger and batteries arrived I immediately alternated them into my Klarus XT11 flash light to test whether or not they had a charge and both did. I didn't run one of them very long so I am not sure how much of a charge. But, I did keep one of them in and alternate modes on the light for about an hour before charging both batteries.

The batteries charged fairly quickly in this charger. set at the highest level the charger indicated full after about 3 hours. I periodically checked the batteries and they never got hot. In fact they stayed cool as the room temperature the whole time.

the charger indicates green when no battery is present and red when charging. It then changes to green when fully charged. I did try out the car charger for about 10 minutes as well and it seemed to work the same as when I had it on a wall outlet. I haven't had an opportunity to test the USB charging option yet.

So far, very pleased. Will update at a later time when I have had more opportunity to use the charger and batteries.

So, I have been running this battery for about a week now and using the flashlight regularly every day just trying to drain the battery. 15 minutes here, 5 minutes there. No long run times but at least a couple hours of run time in all on various modes. To this point the battery is still providing enough power to keep the light at maximum brightness. I am completely satisfied with the results. I'll update again after I have fully charged the used battery.

I ran one battery for a month using it every day for at the very least scanning the backyard at night as a spot light. This battery never lost it's charge and even after using it that much for that long when i charged the battery it was fully charged in less than an hour.

I picked up these batteries, not being familiar with the brand but they have out performed my other 18650's. The charger works great, and the battery carrier is handy. I haven't used the car plug yet but I am glad to have the option for when I need it.

Not much more to say, other than great batteries and a good charger.

I bought this charger for my Eagle-Tac M3C4 flashlight EagleTac M3C4 XP-G R5 LED Flashlight 1000 Lumens. It requires two 18650 batteries to operate. I came across this charger/combo set which others gave it great reviews. So, I thought I would take a chance...

The company Orbtronic shipped the item promptly from the east coast. I remember receiving the package within a few days, which to me is acceptable. Upon opening the package I found: a charger base, power cord, cigarette power cord, Qty 2- 18650 batteries, and a case to hold them.

I charged the batteries at work and by the end of my shift they were fully charged. I installed them in my EagleTac flashlight and it worked just fine. The batteries seem to last a long time. I bought this charger last year and just charged my batteries a second time. Keep in mind I don't use this flashlight often...maybe 5 minutes worth each week. I guess for sitting around idle and with little use, the batteries are doing well.

If I had to find a negative, I would say the length of charging the batteries. For me, it seemed like all day....which I am okay with since you wouldn't need a flashlight during the day anyway :)

I give two thumbs up to the charger, batteries, and company (Orbtronic)!!
