Most Helpful Customer Reviews

4 of 4 people found the following review helpful By K. Pitts on October 28, 2007
This blade did a wonderful job resawing 7.25" Mahogany into 3/32" slices. I used it on a Craftsman 14" bandsaw with a 1hp motor. I followed the tensioning instructions on the package the best that I could but the Craftsman model bandsaw has a poor tensioning system in my opinion. It left me with a little guess work but everything worked out well. It left fairly smooth cuts and didn't waste much wood. I will definitely buy this blade again when my current blade goes dull.

My new Timber Wolf band saw is the best band saw blade I ever bought. I used for resaw solid blocks and splitting thick boards. The saw blade was delivered on time and I removed my old Sears blade and replaced it with the Timber Wolf blade. A scroll blade will be my next purchase.

This blade cuts straight for me, out of the box. Seemingly, this blade doesn't "track." It doesn't matter how the fence is adjusted; the cut comes out straight. The weld is perfect. The cutting is smooth, with little noise or vibration. The kerf is thin. Good blade.

I finally got my cheap craftsman saw to cut like a decent saw. I could cut off a 1/32 thick 5"x 6" card of wood. Using a homemade rip fence. These blades are super sharp and cut like a dream. Finally can make blanks to do layups now for staved vessels.

When I started re-sawing thick boards into thinner stock, the results were disastrous. Terrible blade wonder. I bought this blade, which has made a 200% improvement. The blade is tough, efficient, and straight. I am delighted.

I have been using Timber Wolf for about 3 years. Our primary use is resawing. These blades are extremely sharp and the low tension set up works very well. We have no problems with drift.
