First of all the PS2 controller is the best controller because it is not to big (X Box Controller) and it is not to small (GameCube Controller). It also is not to complicated, I mean, my 4 year old brother can even use it right. Plus now that they have made it see-through with color, it is even better than before.

Very good but the L and R button lock after some time of use. U need to press sometimes to unlock.

This controller is very good, precise, and accurate. I used to have a pair of remote Pelican Controllers which are really bad. I have to keep on putting new batteries in the remote controllers to keep them going and performing, otherwise some buttons or the sticks will not move correctly. That's why I decided to go back to wired controller. So far I'm much happier with this new controller.

What more can be said? It's a PS2 Dual Shock 2 controller, and it works. I bought this one used (smoke grey color) and it came in mint condition, didn't even have to clean it. It looks like it was never touched.

Responsive, thumbsticks have great traction on them, and all the buttons press and return like new. Excluding the Dreamcast, I generally don't like to go third-party with controllers. DS2s last a long time if you take care of them and are even really easy to fix if they start to get buggy. With the prices dropping on videogame peripherals (at the time of this review, anyway) it doesn't make sense to cheap out on your controllers. Buy official Sony, and you get a great, functioning controller at a good price.

Sometimes it is best to buy stuff that are original and no knockoffs. The controller does what is supposed to do. I love the fact that these controllers last you a long time even after from a nasty fall. Thanks Sony for making one durable product!

I bought this while talking about an old game and flashed back to thinking it was 2005 and I absolutely needed a new PS 2 controller. When it came in the mail played a few PS 2 games and the controller worked fine.

October 26th, 2000 feels like yesterday. I had brought home my launch PS2 with a copy of The Bouncer (don't buy it). I've used the same pack-in black Dual Shock 3 since launch day, and after 10 years, it finally quit on me. You have to press the start button very hard to make it work, the sticks are loose, and the triggers are unresponsive. But, it wasn't until my PS2 started randomly loosing my controller's connection that I finally broke down and popped onto Amazon to buy a replacement.

I still play my PS2, at least 1/3 as often as my PS3, or 360. I've been gaming since '86 or so, and Sony's PS2 is by far the best console ever made, by virtue of it's vast selection of phenomenal games. I have also used just about every first party controller ever to come to market, but Sony's Dual Shock design is by far the best. Only Microsoft's 360 controller can arguably be compared to Sony's tried and true design, but only because it is a near carbon copy. Sony has been using the same basic controller design, with some minor tweaks here and there since 1995, and for good reason. It works. It works flawlessly.

Anyway, if you're reading this in 2011+, you're probably replacing your old Dual Shock 2, because you still play the hell out of your PS2. so I guess I'm just preaching to the choir so to speak. Happy gaming.

I received the controllers, I ordered two, relatively fast. Price was not bad, I saved about four dollars, better than no savings. Controllers work fine. They work great actually because they're brand new. And they look pretty sweet since they're a gray transparent controllers.

I love the new Gray Dual Shock 2 Controller its see though and a lot easier to handel than the controller that came with my Playstation2.

I would buy from this company again cause of the product. My son love his new Colored Sony Playstation 2 Controller. Thank you cause now he leave me alone lol.
