Anybody out there with a controller hog who perhaps gets your controller sticky or messy or does something to it you don't even want to know about? Different colored controllers are the key to solving this problem. Mr. Messy has his and you have yours! It works out awesome! I love my teal green controller and he loves his blue one! You also get a year warranty, which comes in the box with this controller, in between the yellow cardboard so if there is a problem with in a year they will fix your controller. Anyway it is the same size as the ones that come with your original PS2. The buttons are the same, they move the same, and feel the same. The only difference is the color, but still it's worth it to get a nice new non-sticky controller and to get your self some distance from that controller hog. I love this one, they also make a teal colored one, and I have seen a sponge bob controller out there as well but if its not made by Sony its probably not that reliable. Stick with the best, get a Sony controller and get in the game!

Great Controller,

I agree with Kelly, you must take care of the controller.I own 6 ps2 controllers 3 black,1 blue,1 wireless logitech and a nyko airflo controller.I use the multitap very often.Love the controller and it will love you back! Now for the review. This controller does not feel as comfortable as the black one. When I am playing and my hands sweat this controller slips out of my hand.I end uptaking my black controller and using it.But i love playing with this controller because it is fun for me to look at it during the loading screen. But if your hands sweat a lot or you play for long periods of time I suggest that you look for the nyko airflo controller its great!!Also I have a friend that is very rough with his controllers and he has dropped his black controller many times and it is still working but he dropped the blue controller and it broke

Same Great Controller, Three New Colors!,

The Playstation 2 controllers are the best controllers out there compared to the XBOX and GameCube controllers. Now I have GC also so this isn't just one of those one sided reviews. The PS2 controller is the most confortable out there. The buttons are perfectly in place, so your fingers don't hurt after beating the game in 10 hours. If you take a look at all the new controllers, they take a similar shape and button formation as the PS controller. The shape of the controller perfectly fits your hand, not to big, not to small, whereas the XBOX con-troller, S or original, is to big and bulky and the GC con-troller just isn't very confortable. Overall if you own the PS2 get this controller. Since now the contrller comes in four colors (black, gray, blue, and green) it makes this controller. *NOTE: the newly colored controllers are made with a different material than the black ones. The new ones are just a littleslipperier and slicker, but are a tougher plastic. This hasn't yet effected my gameplay though.

This is the original Playstation controller, and it is the best. It feels great in your hands, not too heavy, best button response, and overall just the best controller you can buy. If you have been thinking about buying a controller with a different feeling I strongly reccommend do not buy the big Mad Catz controller. It does not feel good in your hands, its too big and heavy, and the button response sucks. Just stick with the Sony controler, it is the best of the best.

This is the official Sony Dual Shock, they've just released it in three new colors (Blue, Slate Grey and Green) ... One of the previous reviewers lambasted it and said get a Sony one, so I'm evening up the score some.

Great pad, but Start and Select should've been moved up a lil.,

Playstation's Dual Shock is such a comfortable and popular layout that PC gamepad companies like Saitek and Logitech try to copy it, and they usually don't do a very good job. Their d-pads are always too awkward, or their construction is too lightweight. The Dual Shock is solid and is built to last. I'm an emulation gamer, and thanks to SmartJoy's USB adapter I can use a real PS1/PS2 gamepad with ZSNES and Bleem.
My only gripes with the pad: A) The Start/Select buttons really should've been moved up after the addition of analog sticks. I'm always finding myself fumbling over the sticks trying to get to Start and Select. B) While the d-pad is very sturdy, it kills my thumbs after a couple hours of play. Kinda makes me wish they had taken a Turbo Touch 360 approach and used a touch-sensitive panel instead of hard plastic arrows.

I hate to break it to you, but I highly disbelieve that the PS2 controllers are comfortable. Yes, I own a PS2, and a Gamecube, myself, but the Gamecube is a lot more comfortable. However, the PS2 is a lot more durable, and should I say, a lot less "sticky."

This controller is very nice and probably the best. It works with big and small hands it feals non greasy(unless you have greasy hands) it has a nice vibration if you notice on some of the other controllers the vibration is too big. Now I own a PlayStation 2 and i have played with a lot of other controllers but they dont last the buttons get pushed in the analog is too sensitive etc. Although with this controler ive had it for 2 years and it has yet to break on me and people this is a sensitive object dont slam it it will work well as long as you take care of it. Also the button reaction on this is the quickest I have seen with those big bulky ones the reaction is very bad and sometimes the analogs dont work properly. You may have also seen this controller in black and teal there all the same price and all have the same durability the only differene is the color. I rate this item 5 stars because its the best controller out there.

i know this controller is $5 less than the typical black controller but it is not worse than it. i am a typical n64 player and i am not used to the power sensitive buttons on the ps2. a lot of times i causally push down on the buttons of the typical black controller and it is unresponsive. i then tried playing on the blue controller and it didnt miss a beat. although the difference is not great, it does make a difference. i am not saying that the blue controller is better because it might have just been these 2 controllers but if u do not have a lot of money to just spend freely i would recommend getting this controller because it can perform just as well as the black one.

I tend to use this controller more than the one that came with the ps2.Personally, there is no difference in performance between the two but I just prefer the blue color of this controller.
