Controller works great. Looks nice. All is perfect... EXCEPT
(1) This controller will NOT work with any regular batteries (eventhough the battery compartment has a picture of 2 AA regular batteries). What this means is you can not use it right the way. It needs to be charged. And you will have a controller to back this one up for when your rechargeable battery is dead. I am VERY disappointed in this detail. I spent $50 for the item and still need an old controller handy to back this one up.
(2) The rechargeable battery has no indicator when it's fully charged. The manual recommends it to be FULLY DISCHARGED BEFORE you charge it again to improve its life. I guess the only way to do that is to play until the battery goes dead, then plug another controller in to play. Then plug the battery in to be charged. Wait 12 hrs for it to charged before you can continue using it again. By the way, to charge this battery, it has to be completely OUT of the controller. So the controller can NOT be used while its battery's being chaged. Do you start to understand the inconvenience? You can drive the best car in the world, but if you can only make short trip, ... hmmm...

I did exhaustive research on wireless controllers and decided on this one. It ended up being an aweful purchase. First, it takes 12 hours to charge the battery pack that it comes with. When the battery needs to be recharged, you have to remove it from the controller rendering it useless, until the battery is recharged, and currently you can't buy a second rechargeable back up. Any information suggesting AA batteries will work is false. Second, the handles on the controller are a little fat making it difficult to use the L1,2 and R1,2 buttons and the two joysticks, especially if you have average to small hands. Thirdly, I followed the directions precisely and could not get the controller to work properly. In any game the screen kept turing right ever so slightly and per the instructions you have to power everything down including the PS2 so you can restablish the wireless connection, which failed. Don't be fooled by its looks, because thats all it has going for it.

Like everyone else....I just wanted to not have my dogs trip on my PS2 cords, so I thought I would give this Logitech Controller a try. Absolute garbage. It seemed cool at first, but after maybe 200 Hours of play, the left joystick went loose and broke. Not to mention that half the time it didn't read my directional controls properly. Do not buy this -- spend it on something else!

I bought this at the store and returned it after 2 days. The battery life is terrible. The controller wouldn't do what you wanted it to do. The jump button wouldn't work if I hit the pause button, the game would end. It is not worth the money, my advise is just get an extension for the regular controller, it works great!!

Received the controller as a gift....after charging the remote 12 hours!!! I was able to play Lord of The Rings for approximately 4 hours, before it lost power....Charged overnight...was able to play a baseball game approximately 2 hours before it ran out of juice!!!!This item will take more time to write a review, drive to the post office and return it than MY ACTUAL GAME TIME, as well as, I will still have to find a new wireless remote...If you spend less than two hours playing a game in a day, great...if not look eleswhere...When the remote works...it works perfectly, however the lack of playable time makes this remote virtually worthless!!!!

Some people say this controller isn't worth the $50 and it doesn't last that long after you charge it. Well I charged my controller for the 12 hours it said to charge it and I've played it for at least 10 hours already and I have not had to recharge it once. I even had a new years eve party and we used it all night long and it worked just as a normal controller would and I could play it all over the house. I have nothing bad to say about this controller, 5 stars by me!

I was looking for a wireless for my ps2 and i got this one after much deliberation. Now that i have it, i wouldnt go back. I can play from anywhere in my entire house and theres a rechargeable battery. amazing!

Jason J Marandas above, stated that this defective product was from Logitech , but that was a mistake this product is by Intec a 3rd party maker of low quality peripherals for the big 3 game machines. Logitec is Signed to be at correct specs by the game companies and is the only company to carry the seal of approval from these companies.

Although many people say this controller is bad i say its awesome. The controller is a fine product. the reason for not working after 4 hours of play may be due to the maner in which it is used. you may have to be a bit careful but thats no big problem. the only bad thing is that im not be compatible with all games. I highly reccomend this product

Where the cord go i dont no but this thang helped me not get any tangles.i love that thang and its torbo button.Oh and not having to change the battery.just recharge it.if you want to keep your battery life longer then turn of the rummble and get a little bit closer to your PS2.I hope that helped.5 stars!
