Mad Catz Memory Card,

Mine works just as good as my friends Sony brand memory card. You have to sit down with a stop watch to tell if there is any difference in loading and saving times because it is that minimal of a difference. It is a little more resistant when taking it out of the PS2, but not enough to make it a problem. Unless you just want to spend extra money for a name, I would recommend this memory card.

This card is almost the same as the Sony version,
By A Customer
This review is from: PS2 Memory Card (8 Meg) (Video Game)
OK, No matter what anyone says, this card is seemingly the same as a Sony official card. Usually, I don't get anything but 1st Party Accessories for my PS1 and Dreamcast and when I got this for my birthday, I was somewhat angry. But, when I opened it and found that it had the MagicGate technology, and was licenced by Sony, I was relieved. The card uses the same encryption technology as the official card, costs less, and comes with a plastic carrying case (probably because if you have a game like MGS2 with a memory card holder in the case, the card won't fit.) and the card is a transparent blue on top, which seems to be a popular color for a memory card. All in all, this card is perfectly good to buy, and for all those weary of a 3rd Party Card, forget about your worries, this card is great.
