I bought this product to use with Dance Dance Revolution mat. It works great. Would probably buy another to use with a second mat.

Bought this to be able to have back up controller and it works great. Played all my ps2 games(have 60g and 20g ps3 so i can play old ps2 games).Seems to work fine with all my ps3 games also,just no sixaxis motion control(sometimes not a bad thing).Cheap,easy way to have back up contollers(while ps3 controller is charging) if you already have your old ps2 controllers.Dual shock function works using this also,so a cheap way of having dual shock function. Works with ps2 guitar hero controllers also.

I bought this product to play DDR on my PS3. I found some reviews saying it worked fine for DDR. Clearly these people never played it on anything but beginner difficulty. This product does not register more than 1 button being pressed at a time. So any games you play where button combos need to be pressed (such as playing DDR when two arrows come at once) you will be unable to do so. This product is NOT a useful adapter, as I know of very FEW games where you never need to press more than 1 button at a time...

It was so much easier to plug in my old PS2 controller with this cord than it was to go out and spend $50 or more on a wireless PS3 controller. The drawback is that you can't go that far from the gaming station because of the cord and if you have kids you have to be weary of them tripping or tugging on the cord.

Great purchase as this item saves me the cost of a controller, since i have a ps2 that has not been used in months

recieved item as described. the item doesn't work with my ps3 games but works with pc games. i'll have to use this for pc games only.

Works great on my PS2 controller on my PS3 but no Playstation button so you can't get back to the Playstation menu. Only found one game that will not work with it so far. Mercenaries World in Flames.

It came exactly when it said it would. PS2 controller connects to ps3 fine. The button response is a bit laggier than using a ps3 controller.

I got these so we could play head to head on GT5... turns out that they don't work with GT5. But as far as I have seen they work with the rest of the games we have. They are WAY cheeper than buying another PS3 controller but may not work with your game (I don't know if there is anyplace to check this before you buy them).

I found very useful this item 'cause it can be used not only for PS3 but my laptop.
I made it for some gifts to my friends, the price was very low, so i'ts worth the purchase
