I apologize for the time it has taken me to respond, but June through October is trade show season in the video game world and I have been busier than ever this year. It fits, many customers place them in our Sentry and Vanguard products, but we do not officially support the top-loader. You must loosen the Velcro straps before using the disc tray.
My mom recently bought this gaming product for my cousin who is in the military. My mother never buys games, but my cousin loves his x-box and my mom said this would be perfect for him. Brandon loves it. So, does the many guys trying to get their loved ones to send them one.
Thanks Johnny for all your hard work and creativity. My mother and I both have always believed in you. I am so proud of you and so is she.
Sorry for the late reply. I am glad Brandon loves his GAEMS product, and I hope he games often to keep his morale high if he ends up overseas. Thank you and thank your mother for everything as well and of course you know I miss you as well.
I'm look at getting on of these. I'm currently stationed in Italy and they sell them at the Navy Exchange on base. The only reason i'm delaying in buying one is because i have the 120G original PS3 model which is like a cinder block. Are there any of these that would be compatible with that model? I would love to have one of these for when i'm stuck away from home for days at a time, but i don't have the money to drop on a new console AND the PGE. My wife would probably murder me. I'd appreciate any feed back. Thank you.
GAEMS does not "officially support" that model, but many soldiers and civilians choose to ignore us and place them inside anyway. The original PS3 design is heavy and we have had that model fail our 5' drop test by shifting internally. With caution, thousands of people ignore us and enjoy PS3 gaming everywhere - I am one of them. I cannot ask you to assume the risk, but it is your choice so if you do, don't drop your Vanguard from 5' or more.
