Beware!! Do not buy this,

Purchased 2 of these to store my UMD's. The plastic pockets fit the UMD movies and games so tight that its next to impossible to remove them. It almost forms a suction around the UMD. I am getting rid of both of mine. One of my games has already been damaged from storing it in this case.

Not All That Great,

I bought this because I have more than 8 UMD's that fit in that standard one that hold's just 8. The games are hard to get out! When you put them in....it is like suctioned in! and you have to struggle to pull UMD out. One little pocket even tore a bit. I know they can make something better than this. I am still waiting!!!!

I was leaning towards not purchasing this because of all the negative reviews. Since there aren't many options to store a lot of umds in one case I decided to give it a go. I am VERY glad that i did. There were many reviews stating that the case does not close. Because of the reviews I took out the extra sleeves that store ps3 games or dvds. I filled the case up with the 16 umds and I was happy to see that it closes just fine. I haven't tried it with the CD pages back in because I purchased this case to hold the UMDs. My guess is that it is designed to hold one or the other, but not both at the same time.I also did not notice any of the "Suction" effect that some reviews mentioned. The disks were easy to remove as well. Maybe I just got really lucky and got the only good unit but I'm buying another one after I submit this review. Don't let the negative reviews deter you. This is a GREAT solution for keeping your UMD's in on place **UPDATE** After having a couple of these for a few months I still stand behind this item 100%! The only other note worthy addition to my original posting is that when you want a UMD from the bottom row, you should take the top UMD out first to make it easier to access the UMD's on the bottom. This does not bother me at all, but it may bother some so keep it mind.

NOT A WELL DESIGNED PRODUCT.Latch on case does not work well. After using this case my games now have scratches on them. Don't waste your money. Cloth made cases are much better.

Why So Low Ratings?,

I was edgy about purchasing this due to the low ratings here, but I really needed a durable case fast and based on a couple positive reviewers from the folks with multi-purchases, I took a gamble. Now that I have the case all I can say is it's excellent. I don't know what others mean about suctioning...I have none of that issue on any pockets. The pockets fit the UMDs a little snugly, but unless you're an ape forcing them out fast you won't have any trouble. Tug with one hand and push the bottom of the UMD out with the other. It takes a little babying but it's not a problem. I also don't see how the pockets would rip but maybe that will take more time...but they seem to have plenty of stability to me. I certainly don't want them sliding out! I also can close the case with all 16 UMDs inside, no problem...albeit with the extra CD sleeves removed. The only downside to this product is it needs to be at least 5 times bigger and have a carrying handle. I love it and will be buying more. You can't go wrong for this low price. No regrets here!

Great Storage Case!,
This review is from: PSP Aluminum Game Safe (Accessory)
This is the second Intec case we have bought and it's the second time we have been VERY happy with our purchase. The umd's all fit nicely and the case closes perfectly when the CD pages are removed. After shipping this cost roughly $11.00, you wont find a better deal out there. If you have more than a few umd's I'd highly suggest buying this. You won't be disappointed.

This is my second Intec Aluminum UMD Case and I'm very pleased. I see some reviews that has not been favorable but I have 16 UMD games in Case #1 and they all fit perfectly and I haven't got any problem closing the case. Do keep in mind that if you only want to have the games then MAKE SURE to remove the CD Sleeves. Currently I have 24 games and I still have enough space for 8 more. Each case can carry 16 games. I would buy a few more later on.

This item seems to have gotten so many negative reviews that I felt I had to add my feedback, given that I have 20 of these and am here to buy one more to house my UMD collection. Unfortunately, many of the points raised are correct. There is barely enough room to hold the 16 discs that can be stuffed into these cases. The sleeves are rather tight, and on occasion have a tendency to separate from the backing along the bottom seams (or be separated on arrival) - easily corrected with super glue. The latches on a few of the cases I own are difficult to keep closed when full, requiring manual latching, and they are a little bulky for the amount of storage they provide. I had been hoping for years that Intec or another manufacturer (i.e. Sony!) would create a larger-scale storage solution for their niche-market UMD discs.Given that the UMD market IS rather small, with many discs and titles having been out of print since 2005 and 2006, it's no surprise that something like a 50+ UMD case does not exist. For those of you that, like myself, have many (or even more than 10) this case is STILL your best solution for safe storage. For its faults, it does provide a convenient place to store and organize your movie titles or games and eliminate the need to house all your discs in the plastic boxes they're sold in. The case itself is rather rugged, with the insides covered with a thin black felt liner. There are a combination of four plastic sleeves for UMDs or five two-sided sleeves for CDs/DVDs. The CD sleeves are pretty typical, and the the UMD sleeves are arranged to hold four on each page. Having kept my collection of UMDs in alphabetical order and moving them from slot to slot many times to maintain that order, I can say that I have not had the experience of some of the reviewers in which the sleeves tear and the games/movies themselves become damaged or crushed simply from storing them in a full case. Very obviously, you cannot store both the full complement of 16 UMDs AND the possible 10 CDs/DVDs in the same case. The inclusion of the five two-sided standard size disc sleeves is simply one for flexibility of items stored within the aluminum safe. Like everything media-related, the discs must be handled with care to avoid scratching. Also, as the sleeves are made of soft plastic, they must handled with care as well! You wouldn't pull on a plastic sleeve or yank out a disc from a standard CD/DVD storage case and expect it not get damaged, would you? If you've got more than a few of these and have trouble identifying which case is which, my suggestion is to create labels either alphabetical or numerical using a simple label maker and affixing them to the cases. This makes it easy to keep them in order without having to etch or write directly on the aluminum frames, and peel off easily for resell or relabel. All in all, for the price (on amazon.com, at least) this is an unbeatable storage device for up to 16 UMDs, which is the largest storage case comercially available. These cases have provided excellent and safe storage for my PSP movies for a few years now, and have made it around the country as well as to the middle east & back with me and I've never lost a disc to being crushed or damaged due to the cases, and in fact, they do an excellent job of keeping sand and dust out of them when properly closed. I would recommend them to anyone searching for a more desirable way to store their UMDs!

Decent item, latch doesnt stay very tight. Plastic slots kinda stick to UMD cases, bcuz the little side lip catches & it can be a biotch to get the UMD out.

I'm very pleased with this case, it holds perfectly most of my PSP games (because I have more than 16) and I didn't found so far any of the issues that other reviewers had. When 16 games are stored the lid needs a little presure to close the box, but that is not an issue for me. I love this product and I plan to buy another one to hold the rest of my games.
