This is just the standard 1200mAh lithium battery for the PSP slim. The good thing is that it will fit in the slim without needing a bigger battery cover (which will be included in the PSP slim battery kit to be released mid-Dec 07). The bad thing is that there aren't any chargers that will fit this battery and so you'll need to charge it inside the slim, which is a hassle. The battery charger will fit the 2200mAh extended battery, which will give you more battery life, and if you wait until the kit comes out, it will include special battery door covers for the black and silver slims (sorry white PSP owners, none to be released yet for white slims).

I own a PSP-3000 and this battery works. It lasts about the same as the battery in comes with, recharges the same amount of time, fits the same... Though, aside from what users have stated, I've been able to charge this outside my PSP 3000. Even so, if you have to, it shouldn't be to much of a hassle~ I've had it for a couple of months now and I'm happy.

This is the perfect item i was looking for. Had trouble trying to find a psp battery at gamestop or any other local stores that sell electronic equipment. Works great and am having fun with it right now. :D

The battery life on it is great. I bought it for my husband and he's a game head so he definitely needs something that lasts to distract him. I sometimes take it too because I did use to be a game head myself but as time went on, I strayed away but it's great fun.

I bought the battery from RS Goods. Battery looks like it reall is original sony but I will have to try it first. Only thing that I did not like was the cost of shipping. On envelope it says only paid $1.56 to ship. I paid $3.99 I know they will say it also includes envelope,and bubble wrap. But still I dont think a little envelope and bubble wrap cost $2.43.

Thank goodness for being able to purchase this battery to replace the battery for my grandson's PSP. It was at a great price.

Just a reminder that you have to insert the battery into the psp to charge it, meaning you could lose track of the other one because it had to be removed.

I dont know what some people are expecting, this is a 5 stars product. Original and it runs as good as the one that came with the PSP.

I picked this up for my PSP-3000, I wanted to have a spare for those times when a charger is not available. This is an OEM product, no problems works fine.
