This product greatly improves game play by putting your hands in a more neutral posture and keeping you from cramping your thumbs to work the buttons. It also has a full plastic cover for the front and back of the PSP keeping it from getting scratched. I would highly recommend this product to any PSP owners.

Can't beat this product....a protective snap on case, grips for longer play time and a stand to watch your PSP movies. I've searched game stores for such a product and nothing comes close to the PSP Comfort Grips. It was a little hard to plug in my earphones or turn on the power but I got use to it. Since using the case I noticed my hands doesn't get as fatigued and with the added bulk the PSP isn't as "Portable" as I want it to be but hey, a small inconvenience for such an outstanding product.

I purchassed this for my 14 yr old son for Xmas. And he hasn't put it down since. It really helps with all his PSP games. All his friends at school now want one. And I'm glad of the protection of the screen and also to his eyes, because any glare is decreased substantially.

To avoid repeating the things already said about this holder, I'll just get to the point: I suggest that use a screen protector for the plastic screen cover, as it too will get scratched up and smudged. Granted, I'm taking it for rides in Humvees in Iraq, and sure, I'd rather have the comfort grip be scratched than the actual PSP, but it is just a thought. As for the general design, I would suggest (as many probably would) that they cut slight holes to allow for better space for the adapter/earphones/power button...but that too is not much of a problem. Those are the only major problems I have had, and it's been dropped many times and manhandled (hey, it's lasted longer than some people's M-16!).

I love the grips. It makes it much more easy to handle the PSP and you don't have to worry about scratching up your screen at the same time. It has a small bar in the back that you take out and it will sit up if you are watching a movie or something. The grips fold in when not playing for easy access.

When I first purchased my PSP, I had a hard time getting used to all the space inbetween my palms and the controls, so I was looking for a product that would rid me of my Console Controller habits. This definitely did the trick for allowing more control over buttons, made it way easier to use the joystick, as well as made it a ton more durable, BUT I have to agree that the protective screen will scratch fairly easily. Also it makes turning your PSP/wireless switches on a pain seeing as there is only a crack inbetween the grips and the on switches, but I got over it when I was able to add the edge to my game, which is why I recommend adding it to your PSP....just add one of those protective sticker things to the protector if that makes sense and you should be in business.

I can't believe this product was released as it is. They took what would have been a near perfect, probably a 4 star (I rarely give 5) item and lessened it dramatically by not allowing access to the headphones / AV out jack. I knew this would be something of an issue when I ordered it thanks to a previous post on this product. However, they failed to mention that it was completely inaccessible. I made sure I had L shaped connector on my headphones as was advised by previous poster on this product but when I received my Comfort Grips and inserted my PSP the headphone jack (which also doubles as the AV jack) is completely blocked and the external speakers on a PSP are not very loud. The one consideration here is I have a slim PSP2000 - I do not know if this makes a difference in the accessibility to the headphone jack or not. If you don't use headphones this would be a great item for you or maybe the L shaped headphone connector caveat is applicable to the original PSP models which would also make this a good item. For me, with a slim PSP and my headphone jack completely blocked off this only gets 2 stars and sends me back to the shopping cart :(

I like the design of this grip; it helps to put space between my palms and the device itself, meaning that I have less cramps in my hand and I have a little more security when holding it. It took me a little bit of time to get used to pushing the buttons with the grip on, but now I've gotten used to it and it's very comfortable to use. The adjustable grips are also a nice feature. It also comes with a metal stand that pops out of the back for when you want to set it down to watch movies, but I never use it because I don't watch movies on my PSP.
I do have a couple of complaints, though. First off, the price shouldn't be anywhere near $20. The entire thing is pretty much made out of plastic. I've seen grips with battery extenders that cost less than this, so what is that all about?! This should have been about $10, tops. Secondly, the casing itself feels somewhat flimsy (especially for the price of this thing). The plastic screen protector, while I will admit is a great thing to have, can easily get scratched if you like to carry your device in your backpack or other carrying bags where it might rattle around a bit. It does protect the PSP, which is what it's supposed to do anyway, so that's good. I'm not really going to count this as a complaint, but you should be forewarned that if you're wanting to use this with any slim model PSP (2000 and 3000), don't bother. This was designed to be used with the original fat model and when used with a slim, it will rattle around and the buttons and ports will be a pain to use. So yes, it's a good grip and I like it quite a bit. I just wish it wasn't so damn expensive.
