The sound quality is pretty good. I was disappointed that the earphones didn't fit in my mp3 player... The disadvantage is that they don't stay comfortably in your ears.

I bought this for my 12 year old son to use with his PSP and he really likes it. He stated that it's not TOO loud even with the volume full blast. That's a good thing since we don't want to have hearing lost in middle age!
