PSP Headphones with Remote Control (White)

I bought this headphone as it was listed as an accessory (*under recommendations and in tags not in info of item) for the PSP and PSP Slim. It is not compatible for the PSP Slim, which has a thin yet wider remote connection. The metal connector are not correct either. Other than that it looks sweet. Now I have to search again for the right set of headphones.

I knew there was a difference in the two types of headphones and I thought I chose correctly. But I guess I didn't. So this review is a reminder for others not to make the same mistake. I didn't see one in reviews.

Summarizing what other have said: The cord is too long, no foam comfort pads, but at least you can connect other earphones (making it larger) if you fell it much uncomfortable. The sound is ok. Another problem I found is the clip. If you are already hearing music and you want to put the control in your shirt or wherever using the clip you probably will press the control buttons.

I basically bought this headset from here because it is cheaper than buying it at the store. I mainly bought it for the remote control piece. I read reviews about how bad the headphones are and they are true. They are hard to stay in my ears and they hurt so much. I only use the remote part which is well worth it. I pick my songs and put the hold button on my PSP and can still control it with the remote. What I liked most is that the remote also has a hold button on it so I don't have to worry about accidently hitting any of the buttons on it. The only thing I do not like is the clip. Because the clip on the back is facing the left direction I cannot clip it to my inside jacket pocket without the cord sticking out of my jacket. If the clip could swivel from the middle so that I can clip it in any direction would be much better. Wow, I didn't think I had so much to say about this little product.

I'm having a blast with these things. The headphones don't fall out like other one's I've owned, and they are very clear with full range of sound. I also like that I can have the PSP in my pocket or backpack and can change the music around (next track, previous track) without having to pull it out thanks to the remote media controller. Overall this was a good investment, saves me time and frustration, plus it sounds great!

Don't make same mistake like i did.. this one doesn't work with PSP 2000.

Can't use the remote control..

These Earphones are really useful. If your watching a movie on the PSP you can control the volume of the movie. You can also pause, play or completly stop the movie. And the earphones are very durble.

Seemed like a good product overall and shipping was very quick but this product is NOT compatible with the newer PSP2. We had to return the product for this reason and it could have been mentioned in the description.

Product works with the PSP 1000 series console only (the older one). The new PSP-2000 series consoles does not support the remote function, although headsets will work. I returned the shipment.

These earbuds are actually louder than I thought they were going to be. The sound quality is great and it seems to be sharper than other headphones. Another thing I liked about them was that nobody can hear what you are listening to, unlike other large headphones. If the stuff you listen to is private, then these are great for you, the buds need to be in your ears to hear anything. If they are just dangling, even with the volume all the way up, you really can't make out what is being said. With the music on pause, you can hear what's happening around you just fine, which also makes them safer.

All in all, if you still have an old phat PSP (PSP-1000), then these are great headphones. Don't buy these if you have a slim PSP or newer, they won't work.

The products I ordered were actually 2 pairs of the black PSP headphones and that is what arrived. Product arrived earlier than planned arrival date. Products arrived in Excellent-NEW condition. Both pair worked perfectly. I would definitely recommend this product and the seller to others.
