If you only use your memory stick for games buy it but if not just get something more expensive.

its a good start after you buy a psp not much memory for music but good when you have a few games great with wallpapers/pictures
when you save stuff memory goes as fast as your money when you buy psp games exc well heres what i rate it

well buy if you can find it cheep if not dont waste your money
its a rip off at stores its about $30.00 but most people already have it any way it comes with value pack

people on this site are acting like it is expected that it will hold more, but if they would think a little bit, they may just realize that they could save up some money and get something better... you're acting like you have no money at all. its only a 32MB memory stick. and when it saves things like games well, why not just use the 32MB for games, and get something like a 1GB for other things (might i add, the 1GB is no longer $130, in fact now its down to about $70 on this site, so id look a little harder. and dont say its bad, it serves its purpose, which is to hold information, so stop complaining.

How the heck can they ask $40+ for this? 32 megs is tiny!!! One demo on PSN EASILY exceeds 32 megs. This is a total ripoff.

Why would you sell this item in the store if it already comes in the value pack? That does not make common sense. This card holds up to 8 songs and 4 games. That's it? The 512mb will go down to $70 by Christmas and the 1gb will go down to $100. If you have a PSP and are a music, game, video, and photo lover, put a memory stick on your list to santa.

It is true a lot of people think that a 32mb card is too small to handle a lot of things, and that is true. But that does not mean that this is not a great card. It has a really fast read and write speed (really faster than UMD load time I think) and that is one of the most important things in a card. These cards are also small and fairly durable. At first you might think they are identical to SD cards...but they are a couple of
millimeters narrower. I guess Sony is going to stick to their policy of "Sony brand memory monopoly" on all their products. I guess they can't use SD cards, since a lot of people have them already, and they didn't buy them from Sony.

But I digress.

If you bought a PSP to play games (which is the best reason to do so) then a 32mb card is enough to handle most of your saves unless you have hundreds of games with hundreds of saves on each one. It is also big enough to handle the download to upgrade the system software to 1.52. (15mb)

So, if you really want to download your entire music library, or photo library, or video library... or all three... or if you fear running out of space for any weird reason, you should not have bought this card anyway, since it is not that big.

But, if you already thought about that, and you are ok with 32mb, then this is a great card.

This is not the sort of memory stick you want to spend your money on. You can buy a sandisk 512mb on sale for 60-80 dollars or or a one gb for 100-110 dollars online if you look around hard enough or if you catch them on sale at stores. That gives you much more options. You can put more movies on them, more audio, more pictures (say if you decide to put comic books / e-books on your psp), or whatever other files you'd want to put on a memory stick if you own one of those venerated 1.50 PSPs floating around, and sandisk is even licensed by sony to make those memory sticks too so it's not like they're inferior in reliability to the sony sticks. 20 dollars for 32mb is just way too ridiculous, as another reviewer said 32mb wont even really cover one game's downloadable content alone: wipeout pure. If you don't want to use your PSP's full capabilities, then don't buy another memory card unless you've lost one and you want to get the cheapest stick possible, if you do want to use your PSP as it's meant to be used, there's no point in buying a 32mb stick.

The memory card was fine, however I had to wait a little longer than expected, it was a gift for my son & the seller emailed me a week & 1/2 after the order was shipped to say he had been on vacation & the package had been returned because he had not put enough postage on it?? But the product was fine once I finally got it.
