PSP Pro Gamer's Kit,

= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: PSP Pro Gamers's Kit (color may vary) (Accessory)
Before buying this, I just threw my PSP in a travailing bag. There was a risk of scratching the PSP screen and possibly ruining the games.
I highly recommend the PSP Pro Gamer's Kit. It's very sturdy, it has plenty of space in the case for your PSP and it's accessories. The case is 12 X 8 inches. 3 inches thick. It has a strong shell. It can actually take a good amount of damage. ___ It has 5 compartments inside. 1. 3 X 4 2. 4 X 4 3. 2 X 3 4. 7 X 3 5. 7 X 3 X 2 ___ Insulated foam compartments to protect from bumping. It has a "secret" compartment in the lid for other accessories. 11 X 7 It has a locking joint so that you can keep the lip open without having to hold it. 2 locking mechanisms to keep it securely closed. It can hold about 12 games in the bottom half and about 20 in the lid. I put my PSP, 14 disks, my digital camera, MP3 player and a few other things in it and still had some room. Surprisingly, nothing slides around and leaves the compartments when it's closed. Things stay put. ____ For the accessories that come with it. It has Headphones, car adapter, safe screen lens protector, neckband, soft cloth and a game case. The headphones really suck. Just use your own. I never use the car adapter, but you might. It really shouldn't come with one. I actually have 3 for the PSP. When ever you buy anything for the PSP, it seems that a car charger comes with it. The safe screen protector. If you look in the picture, it looks nothing like it. I don't think mine came with one if that's what it looks like. The neck band is useless. Who really is going to put it around their neck? I use the soft cloth, it works very well. And for the game case, no need for it at all. I would pay $30 just for the case. If it broke, I would buy anther one in a heartbeat. I think it will last for a while.

You get what you pay for...,

This kit is pretty unremarkable. The case seems sturdy and the series of foam rubber dividers appear as though they will hold my PSP in place when it gets here. Outside of the car charger, most of the other components are just cheap bits of plastic, with little value, i.e. the "Pro Gamer Squeege" for applying your "Pro Gamer Safe Screen" is just a 2" peice of cardboard with the words "Pro Gamer Squeege" printed on it.
An important thing to note is that this kit does not include the "popular Dock It station" as stated in the copy. Unless of course that was also made of cardboard and I threw it out by mistake.

You're Buying a Case,
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars

After reading the reviews for this I almost didn't buy it. I'm very glad I did--here's why:
You're paying $30 for an aluminum case that fits pretty much everything you need for your PSP. Not all the extra gizmos that come with it. That having been said, the case rocks. It is almost airtight, very well padded on the inside, and has a ton of room. I have 12 games/movies, two batteries, and the standard crap that came with the PSP itself and everything fits very well inside. If you do a lot of travelling, this is the case for you.
