Does the job!,

This review is from: PSP Stealth Case (Video Game)
Firstly, I bought this after deciding between this and the playgear pocket(pgp) which is highly recommended(dunno why though, since it doesnt have a screen protector..highly customizable maybe?)
The somewhat sleeky, black exterior is durable. It has access to everything (except the battery port, which you're not going to access often, or at all, unless you leave your psp for weeks without using it and remove it). The screen protector covers the the entire screen plus a small area around it. It is rather thick but doesnt have any effect on whats on screen(ie. you can see clearly,no blurs). Product description has Removable PC screen protector however it doesnt look removable to me nor do the booklet, or i should say one page of 3 not very helpful pictures with warranty info on other side, doesnt give proper instructions for this, just the same image on packaging. Another reviewer said it scratches the umd door, however mine doesnt...maybe they got a defective one. the umd door is covered by a hatch with the hinges at the bottom,on the side facing the umd door is an foldable stand which is used to prop the psp, useful when watching movies. The umd door doesnt touch the case when opening/closing. NOTE however that the case protects the umd door with that hatch so you must open that first then eject the umd door. Stealth as in its black maybe. The size is reasonable but nothing to be called stealthy.(they should save that for the ds lite which can fit in even the tightest jeans pocket!) Only after awhile, maybe 20mins, does you're hands feel the slight burden of the weight. Basically, it does the job and is a good alternative to the pgp. Also, this can be customized with the mother of customization ...stickers!

The Best so far, not joking.,

This review is from: PSP Stealth Case (Video Game)
I have 1 year been with my psp, I have tried almost everything the headsets, 3 type of protectors from the Logitech, Sony official and at last but not less the Stealth one. I ended up selling the other 2 as this Stealth one has captured my attention.
The case is really worth what I paid, I bought it on Ebay, its pure Aluminum (aside from other cases that are plastic made), it has a protective cover inside that wont let your PSP touch the metallic externals. This is great as the external is really hard, if you are in a cold enviorment the Case will be cool as well. You can notice this is not plastic, its metal as you put your fingers or you are in the cold weather. I agree with previous reviewers the case is heavy, but is totally worth it, I cant leave my PSP without this case, I have not taken it out since I bought it, not even to change the battery, I watch movies on this, its really cool and supportive, there is NO way the case will scratch the PSP nor the screen. The screen protector is awesome, you can see clearly through it, no problems so far and it wont scratch so easily. In all your PSP is well protected with this case, I can assure you I have even dropped my PSP in case and no damage has happened to it, I was afraid at the beginning of having the PSP as I know this is like really really delicate, a bump and bye bye PSP... I had first the Nintendo DS Lite, but as expected the games are not the best there, so anyways on my point of view: THIS IS THE BEST CASE PROTECTOR YOU CAN BUY FOR YOUR PSP, its not a plastic cheap one, and I heard they are making this in different colors (silver, blue, red, black)

Great Protection for the Vulnerable PSP,
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: PSP Stealth Case (Video Game)
The PSP is a fantastic unit with a great screen - but it scratches VERY easily. The Stealth Case helps keep the PSP safe from the dings life throws at you.
The Stealth Case is made by Mad Catz and is also offered in a GameStop branded unit at EB Games and GameStop. It's the same unit. It's a hard plastic outer shell that creates a clam shell around your PSP, much like the innate setup of the Nintendo DS. The clamshell idea in general is great. It opens up for easy playing (and even offers a shield against ambient light which can be great). The case holds two memory sticks, and the bottom forms a little stand if you're watching a movie and want to prop your PSP up to watch. On the down side, this is NOT light. When you look at the difference between the regular Nintendo DS and the DS Lite, you sort of have the idea here. The PSP on its own was never a light unit - and if you throw in this bulky case, it's now even heavier. I'm not saying that your arms will start to hurt because you're holding it, but it is noticeable. Really, they key here is that PSP owners have to do *something* to protect their PSP. The way the PSP ships, it is wide open to destruction. That screen - which is of course its fantastic advantage - is completely exposed to anything which might scratch or even break it. You have to do something to give it protection. This unit is relatively cheap and gives you that protection both against gentle dangers (such as a cloth bag might shield against) but also hard drops and smashes. If you take your PSP out of the house at all, that is really important. The way the top of the clamshell is set up, this can even help the PSP if you drop it while playing, because either the clamshell will snap shut when it hits, or the triangular space created between the main PSP and the clamshell top will stop the screen from impacting the ground. Highly recommended for PSP owners, considering how much the PSP itself costs!
