I received an email promoting a DEAL OF THE DAY, which just happened to be the PSP i.Sound Pro 2. The price was right and I bought it, not knowing exactly what to expect. I had read a couple dismal reviews.
When it arrived I anxiously opened the box and removed my new system. After connecting the PSP Slim adapter and inserting the batteries, I was ready to roll. I pulled up The Phantom Menace and adjusted the volume to different levels. It was all so clear and perfect. Then I jumped to the Podracing scene and hit the surround sound button. WOW! It sounded amazing. Sure it wasn't true surround sound but the EQ that it carries is amazing. I cranked up the volume to "11" and it never faded or distorted at all. After turning it back down to a reasonable volume I popped in some SKULLCANDY headphones and let her rip. PERFECTION! A couple days later, while working around the house I plugged the MP3 player du jour into the system and was impressed once again. I paid a nominal price for this but the full price is certainly worth it. Ease of use and a great stand make this the perfect accompaniment to the PSP. I don't know what I did without it.

The thing looks really cool even with my silver PSP Slim, but it's such a pain to plug and unplug the adapter for the PSP Slim. I didn't expect the adapter to be that ugly (as if it was a 3rd party add-on for the speakers). You might want to look for a real Slim version to come out unless you don't mind the over-sized adapter.
The sound is not as good as my portable JBL speakers but quite decent if compared to the PSP's built-in speakers.

Bought it on sale for $10. They work all right and the sound quality is decent, but I wouldn't pay much more than $10.

This product rocks. My work vehicle has no radio I set it on the dash and listen to music all day. Speakers have a decent output, both the bass and surround option work as expected. Would like to have had bigger batteries, but will last on half for at least 8 hours, on quater for 11. Adapter for slim PSP works very well not cheesy like some other reviewers have said.Perfect for viewing on table. I would have liked it to have come with its own power cable, the PSP unit kind of awkward to travel with. Invest in some rechargable AAA will never complain I guarantee

Make sure you get the ISound for your PSP. We have a slim version and I did not know that there were different "theaters". If you have the slim version, make sure you get the ISound Pro II with an adapter. Otherwise, my son loves it.

I just received this and it seems to do what it claims. The stand works well with my first generation (fatter) PSP. The stand leans the psp back causing poor viewing if the PSP is mounted above the viewer (e.g. on the bathroom counter will taking a bath). The inputs from the stand are loosely attached and do not look like they will last multiple insertions and removals of the PSP. That being said, this will hold your PSP and provide louder, slightly better sound.
