4.0 out of 5 stars A useful item which is well designed
This item works as designed and works quite well. The only real criticism I have of the item is that is has some difficulty receiving somewhat weaker stations.

One hint I would suggest for consumers of this product would be to reset the "go to sleep" setting on your PSP to NOT go to sleep. The product when connected to the PSP does not keep the PSP from...

Very disappointed to find that this would not work with my PSP slim (2000). Make one that is!

Doesn't work with the newer 3000-series. The "serial" part of the plus isn't compatible with the new jack.
Wish I'd have know that before buying it.
Otherwise, looks like it'd be great if you have an older model PSP.

One hint I would suggest for consumers of this product would be to reset the "go to sleep" setting on your PSP to NOT go to sleep. The product when connected to the PSP does not keep the PSP from going into sleep mode and thus the system will temporarily shut down (thus interupting radio reception of course).

Bottom line, the product does what is designed to do and it does it pretty well. It is also a compact design and is easy to use.

This is a product that is bad manufactured, please do not buy it. Its parts did not hold together even one day. Its pad did not work so its very dificult to set the volume or change the radio station. Also be careful because sometimes it turns off the PSP so you have to reset date and time.

Unlike the previous person, my son didn't have any issues with his tuner. We gave him this for Christmas last year and he still uses it almost daily. He's 14 and not especially known for taking good care of his stuff, and hasn't had any issue with things falling apart. We paid more for it last year, and I still think it was money well spent.

Nowhere does it say that this does not work with the PSP slim. Unfortunately, I threw away the packaging and now I am stuck with it. But it is useless to me. Bummer.

1.0 out of 5 stars PSP radio tuner, June 24, 2008
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: PSP iFM FM Tuner (Electronics)
I bought this tuner so that I can listen to my PSP in my car because I was tyard of making CDs and wanted to wait until the new iPOD came out. It looks like that wont be happening and I'll be purchasing an iPOD sooner than expected. This tuner will not even hook up to the radio and do what it is suppose to do. I hate this product and wish that I had never bought it. I read the instructions follow all the steps and still nothing.
