The only con I could find is when the charger is in it makes a quiet funny noise, but most speakers don't have chargers anyway so just don't use the speakers while the psp is charging. Other than that, they are a cool design, allowing easy access to the UMD slot, power switch, volume buttons, and memory card slot. My other pair of speakers (see my other reviews), broke after three days. This pair hasn't yet in over a week.
