A friend of mine had one of these that he had purchased a long time ago. I work around alot of vehicles an his would override a set station up to 50ft away. So I bought this one expecting it to work the same way. All I can say is I tried hanging this off my antenna and it still came in awful. Maybe I got a bad unit or maybe the manufacturer was forced to change it from there original product, who knows but why even deal with the headache of finding out this doesnt work well.
