4.0 out of 5 stars Play PSP on your TV
This cable will let you hook up your PSPgo to your TV for games, videos, or whatever else you have saved onto your system. Note that playing games on your TV requires an EDTV (at least 480p) set. Everything else can be done on an SDTV set, but if that's what you have, you should just buy the composite cable.

3.0 out of 5 stars PSPgo Component Cable Review
This is going to be brief and to the point.

This cable has awesome build quality and does a good job at what it's advertised to do. 4.0 out of 5 stars Play PSP on your TV, January 28, 2010

This cable will let you hook up your PSPgo to your TV for games, videos, or whatever else you have saved onto your system. Note that playing games on your TV requires an EDTV (at least 480p) set. Everything else can be done on an SDTV set, but if that's what you have, you should just buy the composite cable.

The downsides of this cable are:
1. There is significant screen cropping (overscan) when you are on the XMB. A large portion of the screen is obscured at all times while you are using the basic functions of the PSPgo system.
2. When playing games, the opposite is true. The video feed is a third the size of your TV, but this may be because I have a 1080p set. I do not own a 480p set to try it on, so it may fill the screen on a lower resolution display.

Still, this is the best way to play PSP games. If you own a PS3 also, I definitely recommend you pick up the PSPgo dock station along with this cable, as it allows you to charge your PSPgo while you are playing it on your TV. You can use your PS3 controller to control the action in your game, which makes the PSPgo no different from any other home console. It's a classy way to play your games while you are at home.

3.0 out of 5 stars PSPgo Component Cable Review, July 1, 2011

This is going to be brief and to the point.

This cable has awesome build quality and does a good job at what it's advertised to do. When playing PSP games on an external display, the games are still in a 480x272 pixel window, but the window is about 3 times larger than the PSPgo's screen (window size depends on the size and resolution of your TV, mine is 23" and 1920x1080). The size increase isn't much, but it does help. When playing original PlayStation titles that you've downloaded from the PSN, the games can be set to display "full screen" which will fill up the entire external display so it's just like your playing a PlayStation. Playing original PS1 titles is where this cable really shines.

This cable works as described, but has one major drawback. It's designed to be used with a PSPgo cradle and a wireless PS3 controller (must have a PS3 for this to work). It's a bit uncomfortable to use the PSP as a controller (the cord is 8'. Unless you have a PS3 to connect your PSP to (so you can use the wireless controller), then this isn't really the product for you.

If you want to connect your PSP to the TV, these cables will do just that. They plug into your PSP and a component in port on your TV, and off you go. After you plug them in, you just need to push and hold the TV button on top of the PSP. After a few seconds, the screen of the PSP will turn off and it will suddenly appear on your TV. Pair that with a PS3 controller and you now have another home console!

I like this product because it is possible to sync a bluetooth Playstation 3 controller with your PSP and it becomes a home console! You have to resync the controller whenever it gets shut off, but it only takes a min and its totally worth the showoff value! Warning: I haven't confirmed this, but I have read that you need the component cables to play games on your TV as the RCA style only outputs video.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fixed all the problems the A/V cables gave my HD TV, March 30, 2010

I have a Vizio 42" 1080p TV and I don't know if the features of the TV caused the problems with the composite cables or if HDTV's just don't mix well with composites (Yellow video cable). I had to end up buying these component cables because the A/V cables caused my TV to blur really bad while motion was happening. These component cables fixed that problem and they even make the games look good.

These cables are of good construction and all but there's no point in getting the Componant cables as the PSP itself isn't in high definition. So no matter what cables you use, the picture is still grainy on your TV screen. Go with the composite (RCA) cables and you'll be fine.
