Product Description
High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) is the first industry-supported, UNCOMPRESSED audio/video interface. This cable connects HDMI devices for DVD, satellite boxes, LCD, projectors, plasma and HDTVs. HDMI provides an interface between any HDMI-enabled audio/video source, such as a set-top box, DVD player, and A/V receiver and an audio and/or video monitor or projector.
HDMI supports standard, enhanced, or high-definition video, plus multi-channel digital audio on a single cable. It transmits all ATSC HDTV standards and supports 8-channel digital audio, with bandwidth to spare to accommodate future enhancements and requirements.

Does not work at 1080p,

I bought two of these cables to get signal to my ceiling-mounted projector (Epson 8500UB). Both cables work at 1080i, but not at 1080p - with one cable has significant video noise with occasional signal drop-outs, while the other doesn't work at all. Clearly the signal quality is marginal for 1080p video. I tried both a JVC XVBP11 Blu-ray Player and an active HDMI switch (Apogee HDMI 3x1 Mini Switcher v1.3b) as signal sources, with the same results.
If you don't need better than 1080i, these may work. If you want 1080p, you're probably better off looking elsewhere.

Great cable for the price and nicely constructed. It is 30ft long not 10 meters.
