5.0 out of 5 stars Very helpful..., March 8, 2009
This review is from: PTSD: Living In a Stressful World - Understanding and Overcoming Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (DVD)
I was not aware that there was a way in which our everyday lives, the smaller hits that we all experience in day to day negative experiences, can hit on old traumatic events and affect us today all over again. But after watching this video, I started noticing that certain kinds of arguments or events would make me shut down and seem to react way out of proportion to the current event. Once I noticed this, I was able to start thinking about the early events I had never really let myself deal with. Now that I am, I feel a lot "lighter", if that makes sense. And the new bad events just aren't as big a deal as they used to be. So the information in this video is a really great tool on the road to being happier overall. I recommend it.
