I have tried all the other brands of little goals and these are definitely the best.

Size Name: Pair of Goals
Background:
I have played soccer with the following setups:
Initially I organized pick up soccer games with cones, which lasted about a Month
PUGG 4FT Goals(blue ones) 2-3 Months
PUGG 6FT Goals(Yellow ones) 1 Year
Franklin 5x10FT Goals. Purchased Early July 2010

Pros:
1) Easy to Setup
2) Includes 2 goals and Carry Bag for Goals
3) Each Goal comes with 3 Stakes to hold the goal to the Ground. They also supply replacement stakes.
4) Super Light Weight ( under 3lbs guess??)

Cons:
1) Size. Its great for a quick pick up game. I have played upto 8v8 with these goals. But if any adult stands in front of the goal, it is very difficult to score.
2) Plastic Stakes break when stepped on, or pressed into the ground with feet. They warn against this.
3) Taking a full on hard shot by an adult, sometimes sends the goal flying, even when pegged into the ground.

Recently Upgraded to Franklin Premier Folding Goal (5-Ft. x 10-Ft.):
Franklin Premier Folding Goal (5-Ft. x 10-Ft.)

For Almost the same price you can have real size goals.
But they take time to put up and weigh 25lbs a piece.

I use both goals. When we only have 3v3 to 5v5 we play with the PUGG goals.
Otherwise we use the bigger Franklin 5x10 goals.

Edit 9/20/13:
3 Years Later still in great shape!
I use these goals in conjunction to the Franklin Premier.
These are by far easier to use/setup.
The goals come with some spare stakes, which are all gone now..
So next time one breaks I will have to purchase some spare replacements.

Still Highly recommend these goals!

I have used this with my U-12 team now for several weeks, and I have been very happy with the quality of this product. A coach for another team that I was working with had purchased a different set of pop-up goals from Agora that was an inferior product compared to this. The three stakes that come with each goal are each attached with a velcro strap so that you won't lose them, and there is a little pocket that you can slide each stake into so that it doesn't snag on anything. The goals take seconds to set up/tear down, and it is really easy to collapse the goals. You also get an extra set of three stakes, and the carrying case.

There are several types of portable goals out there, but these are the best. They are very well made and have withstood heavy use (hard kicks and kids being rough with them). The toughness of these goals is complimented nicely by the ease with which they can be set up and taken down. Finally, the bags they come with have a handy strap that makes carrying them very easy, which is important because you most likely will be carrying other stuff (soccer balls, cones, water bottles, etc.).

One final note, the zipper on one of my bags broke right away (the zipper is very important because it keeps the goal from falling out when carrying it in the bag). When I contacted PUGG directly ([...]), they replaced it for free (including shipping) right away. This is a excellent product from a company that provides excellent service. These goals are a little bit more than the competition, but they are worth the money.

Got this for my son to play with friends as well as practice. He and his friends opened them and started playing soccer right the way. Super easy to set up and the kids love it.

What is to say, Pugg is the AYSO standard for easy portability and especially handy for those 90 minute practices. The 6-foot model is good for older kids, we can put two adjacent to each other to give a good idea of actual goal size.

This is one of my favorite equipment for small sided games. It provides a visual of the objective (score a goal) and forces the players to concentrate on their shots. I use it for U12 and under games up to about 5v5 and grid size about 20yd x 30yd...maybe bigger grid if I have non-trad setup. I have two pairs so it allows a lot of variation if I want to make match-related games of 8v8. I also have the two pairs of the smaller 4 foot PUGGs but don't find that as useful as they are a bit too small. The carry bag with should strap is great. After 6 months of use 2x week, no problems. I ask my players not to kick the ball out from the side or behind the goal as this would obviously be a big reason the fabric or net tears.

A few additional notes:

1. This 6 foot PUGG is more realistically like 5 foot wide by 3 foot high net. The 4 foot PUGG is more like 3.5x3 foot WxH. It probably does stretch out to 6 foot but I hesitate to put that much tension...either that or they count the elastic banded pegs toward the length???

2. If you get these, I would suggest multiple pairs and to watch the Coerver training video series as they show a variety of set ups for small sided games (1v1 thru maybe 5v5). But for typical match-play 8v8 scrimmages in a 40 x 60 yd grid, these are a bit too small...I use training poles or larger goals/rebounders instead because the field is too crowded to make a shot from the distance and pressure the players face.

3. Takes about 20 seconds to set up each one. The pegs are hard plastic but easy to break if the ground is hard and pushing in by hand. They include a few extra pegs, but don't take the chance as the pegs are probably hard to replace. I use a 8oz. mini hammer (also sold on Amazon, Sears, and some hardware stores) to pound in the pegs regardless of soft or hard ground.
