The shoes are a puma brand running shoe. With this in mind it fits and feels exactly as I expected it too if not slightly better. Firm, but comfortable support, good ankle hold and enough room in the toes for flexing and movement. I ordered a half size up and they fit okay, but I like my tennis shoes vicegrip tight. For the average person I'd say ordering a half size up is a good idea, but when I buy my second pair I'll stick with my regular size.
In the past I've mostly been a slave to Nike. To be honest they aren't quite as comfortable as a pair of Nike Shox right out of the box, but they're close and also about 50 bucks cheaper. The color I liked was even cheaper, so if I really wanted comfort I could buy two pairs and 20$ gel insoles for each and STILL be saving about $30 over one pair of Shox or Air Max. And, boy, do these babies look sharp. Drool worthy even. So far I've worn them 8 hours a day at work for a week and no blisters or sore spots to complain about, and I can feel them starting to break in pretty well so they'll only get better from here. Bottom line, I LOVE these shoes.
It is not too big or small BUT very very uncomfortable. It is not suitable for running at all and gives a very lumpy feel. Also the shoe is narrow at the toes and I lose feeling after a while there. The sole is also kind of hard. It is quite heavy and uncomfortable shoe and in fact slows me down while running.
Did not expect such a poor product from Puma.
