Good stuff!,

This review is from: PURELL Instant Hand Sanitizer Moisture Therapy 8 oz Pump Kit (Health and Beauty)
I have a recurring problem with eczema on my hands, and while medical science seems baffled about the cause, one treatment is avoid the use of detergents and soap whenever possible.
When I told my dermatologist that I typically wash my hands quite a few times a day (I am not obsessive, just own dogs and cats) he recommended this product as an alternative to soap and water. I was skeptical at first-mainly because I wash my hands more to get the dog odor off them than due to any concern about germs. While the Purell doesn't seem to de-dogify my hands quite as good as soap and water, it is hard to tell how much of that is just in my head. Ten minutes after using the stuff, you really can't tell the difference between having used Purell or soap. I think there is some psychological component to soap and water. There is some alcohol smell, but it is really not all that bad, and it goes away quickly. The moisturizers seem to work- this stuff doesn't dry out my hands nearly as much as just the regular sanitizers. It has also become hard to find-glad to see Amazon carries it. The only drawback- it gets a little expensive compared to the handy 50-gallon size of liquid soap from Costco. Not sure if it helps the eczema or not-it is hard to tell because outbreaks are so random...but it certainly doesn't hurt. Update: I have found the 3M version of this product to be superior-for no other reason than the pump. The Purell pump has a nasty habit of squirting in some random direction, while the 3M pumps reliably straight down into your hand. The 3M stuff is also easier to find.

Does not dry out skin,

This is a great product, and I am sad that it is no longer sold in drugstores. I was glad to find it on Amazon. This sanitizer does not dry out your hands like other santizers since this one contains moisturizers. Most other sanitizers dry out your hands and sometimes causes your skin to crack. I use this Purell sanitizer numerous times during the day @ work. (They say the workplace is one of the germiest places: photocopier, telephone, fax machine, etc.) Soft, pleasant scent as well. Highly recommended product!

This product works without drying my hands too much. It doesn't have an objectionable odor. Unfortunately, local stores have stopped carrying it.
I will order it as long as it is available.

Hand Sanitizer review,

The item works great. My girlfriend and I use it on a dily bases. She can not go without it. The only thing I wish was that it came in the small tube like it use to, so that she could carry it around in her purse.
