Hand sanitizers (also called hand antiseptics) are liquids, gels, or foams that help reduce the number of germs on hands when a small amount is rubbed into the skin; no rinsing with water or drying with towels is needed. In situations when soap and water are not available, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends use of an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Alcohol-based hand sanitizers can quickly reduce the number of germs on hands, but do not eliminate every kind of pathogenic microorganism. Hand sanitizers are not as effective when hands are visibly dirty. They are available in a range of sizes, from small bottles for personal use to large mounted dispensers for public or institutional use. They are also available as wipes: small, disposable paper or nonwoven towels soaked in a hand sanitizer liquid. Hand sanitizers are typically part of hand hygiene programs at health care and food processing facilities, where pathogenic microorganisms are common.
GOJO Industries manufactures hygiene products, including hand washing, hand sanitizing, and skin care formulas under the GOJO, PURELL, PROVON, MICRELL, and AQUELL brands. The company, founded in 1946, is headquartered in Akron, OH.

However they dry out quickly, but are good for cleaning the hands of germs - however, if your hands look dirty, this isn't the product for you.
I use mine to sanitize my hands before eating.... and to give to people that gross me out that keep touching my stuff at work.
Oh and to wipe down my stuff at work that people keep touching.
This product is just alcohol on the wipe, so no stickiness whatsoever. Unfortunately, the alcohol dries in about 30 seconds after opening the wipe fully. You have to rub it all over your hands pretty fast because it doesn't last long. Second, the wipe itself is not a cloth-type soft wipe. It's a hard papery feeling wipe, not cloth at all, and it is not particularly large when unfolded. This would be perfect if it had the large cloth wipe of the first product and the non-stickiness of this product.
Modifying review from three stars to two: After several months I've noticed approximately 15-20% of these packets have seals that are broken - you open them up and the paper/cloth thing inside is bone dry.
Do not recommend.
Be advised: They arrived in a plastic bag: 1000 loose, individual wipes; they are not in a box. In my case, I happened to still have a few of the old (larger) wipes in the dispenser box in which they came, so I simply refilled it with the small wipes.
Good product; arrived fast; reasonable cost (about 4.1 cents per wipe).
Planes seatbacks and tray tables are a cesspool. People change diapers on the same tray table that you are using as a table for food and drinks. I have seen people put dirty diapers in the seat backs and not even wash their hands afterwards. Another disgusting habit on long flights is passengers putting their bare feet on the tray tables.
The planes DO NOT get cleaned after every flight. Maybe once a week or less. Even then I would not expect proper sanitizing.
So if you are on a long flight, clean up your table, and area with a few of these wipes and hopefully you will not get sick from the disgusting habits of others.

Can't live without them... only issue is that I've ordered several boxes and not one of them has had 1000 wipes. Some had more and some had less (+/-10 wipes).Published 9 months ago by Staley
got a large box because it is cost effective. several wipes were dried out even though they are stored in a sealed bag.Published 14 months ago by voice of reason
The are several (maybe 5%) which have been dry upon opening. Even the moist ones dry out quickly though. Hands are clean.Published 14 months ago by Troyd75826
