I had to replace my amp, which forced me to replace my sub as well. I originally had a SoundStream Reference 300 and a Eclipse 12in 8 ohm sub. Replaced the amp with a Power Acoustik BAMF 2000 Mono Block, does not perform well with a 8 ohm speaker. With the Pyle Dryver PLD-12WD, a Scoche SE12 box, with Acousta-Stuf Polyfill, this sub goes low and hits hard. I was pleasantly surprised with the frequency response of this speaker. On bass you can't hear, you definitely can feel it. I have the amp at 1/3 and the adjustable bass at about 2 db. After sound deadending the trunk, the bass is much cleaner. I would definitely recommended these speakers to anyone when setup properly.

You do need to go thru a break in period with these speakers, give them a week to warm up before you really start to hammer them. Also since these are a dual voice coil speaker, make sure you wire them properly.

I had a set of the Pyle choppers with a Legacy LA2059 2400 Watt 2 Channel Bridgeable MOSFET Amplifier and did quite well at a competition with them in my 78 f-150 turning 139.2 db. But I was beat by a guy running twice the enclosure and twice the power with a run of 141 db, so I had to step up. I was diggin my Pyles so I purchesed these and am runnin them in a 1.3 cuft box designed on Bass Box Pro, Powering them with a PYLE PLA2988 2 Channel 6000 Watts Bridgeable Mosfet Amplifier and let me say, o dang, volume comparison old like 19 on new set up, and new set up goes to 30 i was hoping for a 10 db increase i might've got a 15 well see. Slam way harder than they cost. Check the t/s parameters compare to any in same range, they'll eat em up.

I love these 3200 Watt Pyle woofers, I had the 1600 Watt Pyles , but I blew them out in one month. I listen to music LOUD , I love to beat out Gucci Mane; the bass Kicks with these 3200 Watt woofers. Don't be fooled because they're inexpensive, these are industrial strength woofers....I recommend these woofers to anyone who wants to slump out on a budget.

Super Explosive Sound. If super bass is what you want then these are the speakers you need. Had these speakers connected to my 6000 watt pyle amp and it Fried it. So make sure you have plenty of power to supply these Mega Quakers!

Blew in one day. sucks ass. dont buy one. It will blow on you under any wattage. you get what you pay for. no offence to the seller, just the brand

I got 2 of theese things and hooked them up to a BOSS 3,000 watt class D Phantom Series Amp,have had them for almost 2 weeks now and after giving them some break in time let me tell ya theese things are awsome.They shake everything in sight and then some.I also have them in a ported box by Obcon and theese subs combined with the Obcon box make my little Mazda 6 rattle like its going to blow up or something lol.

this sub may be cheap but it blew up within 2 weeks! i had a 2000watt amp nowhere near max! waste of money

its an okay sub but for being such a high wattage its not that loud i built a box to spec and i had one 12 inch kicker that was like 10 years old and it still hit harder than this one not that impressed with it i know its cheap but kicker is like 20 bucks more i would def go with that one instead plus you dont need a massive amp to power it
