On strength of 'Ms. Pac Man' alone, this is a five-star item, September 20, 2009
This review is from: Ms. Pac-Man / Galaga Classic Cocktail Table Arcade Game with 19-Inch Monitor (Sports)
The cocktail-table version of "Ms. Pac Man" has long been a "dream purchase" of mine -- something that, if I ever had the money to buy, would proudly be made the centerpiece of my future living room or "man cave." Well, that day finally came, and as I write this review I'm staring at a gorgeous, wood-paneled Mecca of classic-'80s videogaming sitting across from my computer desk.
It is truly a thing to behold. I remember playing hours upon hours of "Ms. Pac Man" in the arcade of an ancient bowling alley in my hometown, and hitting the "Start" button on this baby and playing a quick round brings back waves of nostalgia.
It is a faithful port of the game, too -- something a lot of the home-console modern "anniversary" upright versions found in newer arcades sadly failed to replicate. This is fast 'n furious "Ms. Pac Man" as it was meant to be played: with jangled nerves while trying to outrun quick, smart and ruthless ghosts.
The inclusion of "Galaga" is nice, but I never played that game much (and am still terrible at it). But as the title of this review says, just having a faithful port of my favorite videogame, in all its cocktail-table glory, in my friggin' house, is worthy of five stars.

A must-have machine, February 16, 2011
This review is from: Ms. Pac-Man / Galaga Classic Cocktail Table Arcade Game with 19-Inch Monitor (Sports)
This is it: The actual arcade machine that contains the original Ms. Pac-Man and Galaga. Okay, so the machine was made in 2001, but it still held the true originals.
Ms. Pac-Man is that really popular maze game in which you play as the miss in action. Run around eating all the dots, avoiding the ghosts, you know the drill!
Since the stand-up version of this machine is pretty much everywhere I've been to, chances are that the machine lets you play as a Ms. Pac-Man that runs as fast as Sonic the Hedgehog! If not, then there should probably be a way how you can change that inside the machine itself.
Galaga is like Space Invaders, but with several improvements. The enemies do stunts in space while moving down towards you, the "boss" aliens can steal your ship, there are bonus levels, and you can even steal your ship BACK, allowing you to shoot DOUBLE the amount of firepower!
Overall, if you are an arcade owner, or just some person who wants an arcade machine in your room, this is for you.

"Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga Class 0f 1981 20-Year Reunion" cocktail table brings back the memories!!!, April 13, 2011
This review is from: Ms. Pac-Man / Galaga Classic Cocktail Table Arcade Game with 19-Inch Monitor (Sports)
As a kid, I dreamed of owning an actual arcade machine in my own home. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think it would actually happen! The "Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga" combo cocktail table is perfect for those of us who grew up playing these games, but don't have the space for the full-sized uprights. You can even play the original Pac-Man, once you learn the secret joystick "code" to call it up. It has many different user-adjustable options for all three games, including regular or "speedy" play for the "Pac-Man" games, and regular or "fast fire" for "Galaga". This unit really brings back the memories, and is a fun item to have at parties!
