I took this to my Mexico trip and felt safe leaving the majority of my money in it back in the room. I took all my spending money with me after hearing some bad stories about ATM's or using your credit cards. The only challenge was finding something secure enough to wrap the lock around to actually make it secure, but after a little hunting I found a good spot.

Takes up very little space in the suitcase and will easily deter a casual thief. I'm sure a more dedicated thief could find a way into it or cut it loose with the right tools.

I bought this product to use when I go backpacking around the world. I planned to use it to lock up things like money and passport in my room when I go out. The picture was deceiving to me, and it is actually big enough to hold much more. This may be a positive for some people, but because the product is a heavy one, I really hoped it would be a small, easy to carry size, to hold the bare essentials. I'm sure it works fine, but Pacsafe doesn't appear to make anything in a small size, like I am looking for.

I use the bag for storing my handgun in hotel rooms or if I must leave it in the car. The greatest advantage is that it takes up virtually no room when empty. It's not a real safe, but will defeat a "grab and run" thief or even one with basic tools who doesn't have much time. I replaced the lock with a sturdy combination version so I don't need to worry about losing the keys or having a thief find them. Closing the bag is sometimes difficult in confined spaces.

I purchased this to keep my IPad, passport, ect. safely locked up, and am very disappointed to find that the PacSafe 100 is too small for the IPad. Other wise it is a well made product.

The `Pacsafe Travelsafe 100' offers a simple but highly effective idea to help you with your holiday security. This features as exomesh bag that is covered in a water resistant (not waterproof) bag that you can put your holiday money, travellers cheques, passports and any other items you wish to keep secure into, draw the top closed and then secure it around a fixed item in your hotel room (or car) to provide a secure haven for your valuables. The exomesh is like large, secure chicken wire and is slash proof and a steel cable runs through the top of the bag to be secured with the sturdy padlock that is also provided. It is claimed that you can use this as a portable safe and whilst it will not stop determined thieves (like those with bolt cutters to cut through the cable) it will certainly deter most opportunist thieves that may break into your hotel room looking for easy pickings. The bag capacity is adequate for most holiday valuables and I can easily fit my mp3, small digital camera and holiday documents inside with ease. It is also light to carry and comes with an elastic band to keep it rolled up in your luggage when you travel. I can so see no real issues with people cutting the external bag and taking out loose items from between the wire gaps and you can always put small items in another bag, inside the safe if this is a concern. This is a simple design, that is well made and highly suitable for holiday security. Well worth considering for your travel adventures.

I use the TravelSafe to secure small items while traveling, as it can be padlocked to something immovable to prevent the removal of the contents while I'm doing something else. It is a large enough for most small digital cameras, wallets, passports, or anything as large as a revolver with a six inch barrel. The bag is lined to protect items inside, and the stainless steel net between the fabric layers prevents smash and grab tactics for whatever is padlocked inside. It is small enough to roll up and stow in a briefcase, pocket or purse, and can be deployed in just a few seconds. The stainless steel cable that is used as a drawstring doubles as the security device, securing the bag to a stationary object, as well as keeping the bag closed with a swaged on brass bead that prevents the opening of the bag when the lock is in place. This bag is perfect for storing anything of value when you absolutely cannot take it with you. I use mine in the car or hotel rooms and can rest easy knowing the things inside will still be there when I get back. The TravelSafe is not large enough for a laptop, but will fit items up to 8" by 13" by a couple inches thick. It is a great accessory for anyone traveling with valuables that need to be secured.

What I like about this compared to the bigger ones is that it is lightweight.

You can attach it to something sturdy and loop it into your backpack so that it can protect both your very important things (papers, money and camera) and the backpack itself.

It helps prevents opportunity theft.

It was nice to be able to keep items safe while we were not in the hotel room. Easy to use. seems durable. Just what we were looking for.

My wife and I decided at the last minute, a month long holiday in Europe, that we needed a safe for our documents. Travel by airplane created it's own problems. Found this at this web site ordered and had it delivered in 2 days! We will take this with us again and again, what a great product!

This is nice and handy. I wanted something that would be easy to use and effective.
