This is an uplifting, inspiring piece that we play over and over again. Our kids (7 and 10) love it and asked to have the CD also in our new car. Now carpooling, its the one requested and all of the kids (ages 6 to 11) quiet down and listen. The Pachelbel Canon is a joy. All of the selections are terrific. I can't imagine ever tiring of it.

Along with the now standard combination of Pachelbel's Canon with Albinoni's Adagio and Choral no.7, there are also several popular Bach pieces along with Bonporti's Concerto a quattro no.5 and a Molter Concerto. All of these pieces are played excellently and this is a solid Five Star CD.

This wonderful version of The Canon will please any fan of the piece. There are many other great versions of Pachelbel's Canon and for those who already have enough Bach in their collection, one of the other versions may be better, but for anyone who wishes to give a CD to a friend or relative (especially those friends who do not have much experience with Classical music) this is the perfect Gift CD.

Absolutely a wonderful addition to any collection. Close your eyes and sit still and just let the music soak in through your ears.
