A little over 3 years ago my husband and I were taking a Lamaze class and the instructor played a little of this CD to the class as an example of relaxing music we might want to use during labor. Then she gave it to one lucky couple as a prize for a game we played--we won.

We not only listened to the CD during labor, we have played this CD for our now 3 year old daughter every night while she falls asleep since she was born. She now calls it her "Beautiful Music".

It really is beautiful and I would recommend it to anybody, but especially to expectant parents.

I've purchased numerous "ocean sounds" with Pachelbel for relaxation and this is the best one so far.

This CD is completey 100% wonderful! My personal favourite is #2 Beyond the Horizon. It is a great way to relax, cure a headache, or to help you get to sleep. The soft ocean sounds are timed perfectly with the music. I have listened to many different ocean-music CDs and this one tops them all. Totally worth it for any age (I am 15). If you really wanna go all out, light some candles or inscents. Ah heaven here we come.

Coming from a profession where stress is par for the course, I am in constant need of music which will relieve it. Pachelbel is the Master, I am just surprised that few listen to his music, his Canon for 3 violins & continuo is probably one of the greatest pieces for the violin ever written.

This album is so wonderful.It is an escape from the normal hectic pace that one is so used to. It is so relaxing, soothing that you forget that you are not by the sea.

I got in touch with the Canon from composer Pachelbel again a few weeks ago when I was watching the movie 'My Sassy Girl'. Fell instantly in love with this melody, so I decided to browse on the internet to see if there were any CDs which contained this song. Pachelbel: Forever By The Sea has the melody from Pachelbel's Canon in every song, mixed with ocean sounds. I think it's a beautiful mix, and very relaxing too!

Calming, peaceful, well done. This also helps with pain and insomnia ! The balance of the ocean sound and the
OSTINATO , which is a repetitive bass pattern , of the Pachelbel Canon are very good. Highly recommended !

I love the CD, Pachelbel: In The Garden.

The music samples I listened to, Pachelbel: Foverever By The Sea, gave the indication it was going to be on par with the CD, Pachelbel: In The Garden.

However, when the CD arrived, I put on to listen. After a while, I could no longer endure listening. Boring. I found many of the passages monotonous compared to the CD, Pachelbel: In The Garden..

What a let down.

I switched back to Pachelbel: In the Garden.

This CD is a mixture of lovely Pachelbel music with ocean sounds in the background. If you need quiet time with background music that will help you relax, read, sleep, this is a great choice.

My spiritual study group loved this CD and most members wanted their own copy. The two orders were filled quite promptly, but packaging was inadequate. In both orders, the case of one CD arrived damaged. When I imformed Movie Mars Inc. of the damage, they sent me a new case. But then on the second order the CDs were again sent in a padded envelop and once again one case arrived cracked. Next time I will try a different company.
