This and the other compilations in this DECCA series are excellent. Much thought went into the choices of recordings, with high caliber artists performing the selections. If only all compilations were this good . . .

Well I've been in love with Pachelbel's Canon in D for many years. I decided to buy an album. Not only was I happy with the two versions of Canon in D - Organ and Violin. Also the other Baroque pieces on the CD are very good, some of which I knew but did not know in composers. I have thoroughly enjoyed this CD
