This CD is a fantastic work. I bought this CD in Hawaii last year and was devastated when I lost it. My piano teacher found it on line and bought it so that I can have my relaxing CD back in my care. If you love classical music or the mythical humm of the ocean, this CD is a must. It most definitely utilizes the tranquility and beauty of the ocean and the masterpiece of Pachelbel's Canon in D. The best way to listen to this CD is with the lights off, your eyes closed lying on something, then think of Hawaii and you'll be there! Try this CD, it's really "Love at First Sight"!!

If you are a Canon in D fan... this is a masterpiece... One of my favourites in my collection of over 50 different Canon in D's CDs. My TOP Canon in D is done by Avalon Music (Title of the CD is Pachelbel). This CD will have you sleeping before the track ends. Guaranteed!

I wrote the previous review on the utilization of both the tranquility of th ocean and the Cannon in D. I still believe that it is one of the most amazing pieces of music I have heard and can play (I have written many arrangements on this piece for piano)and this CD is a fantastic work. I would definitely recomend it to anyone who love the timeless beauty of Pachelbel's Cannon or the constant hum of the mythical ocean waves.

I have a number of CD's with Pachelbel recordings, it is truly addictive. When I met the love of my life for the last 37 years, she introduced me to the ocean and I fell in love with it as well. This is the perfect marriage of the sounds of the ocean and Pachelbel.

Additionally, there are some other relaxing sounds on the CD as well, but the Pachelbel is of course, my favorite.

I really enjoy this CD. When my little brother first bought it, I didn't like the idea that the first track was a half and hour long. However, when I listened to it, I really came to enjoy it and bought it for myself. I can't describe nature music like I would Final Fantasy (ie FF S Gen, FF Celtic Moon, FF IX, etc) because you definitely have to be able to enjoy classical mixed with nature. There's really no inbetween, but rather it depends on your preference. If you enjoy listening to waves crashing up against the rocks, then this is definitely the CD for you.
