As a fan of medieval weaponry, I just had to add this axe to my collection. With a little sharpening, this handsome piece of steel could be made battle ready in a matter of minuets. Pick it up! Feel it's might, Connan. Take a swing and holler,"ODIN!" Feel the crisp, cold wind on your face as you row the heavy oars of a long ship, sailing off to plunder...Oops! My imagination is getting the best of me. Yes. This axe will add a bit of savage charm to your castle or living room wall.

I have proudly hanged This weapon on my living room wall with several others. The steel is good and holds an edge nicely. Its weight is light, and its handle short, for those close quatered swings at an enemy intruder!

Just a nice axe. Simple with a nice blade. I also received it very quickly.

This iteam could have been pretty awesome. I was looking for more of a show piece that was cheap for a basement room. When I got the product and at first look it was awesome. I took it out of all the packaging and noticed a little brown glue or other sticky stuff on one side of the blade. When I turned it over, it was all over teh other side and the end of the handle where they put on the blade. I tried just some soap and water with a light brush and it didnt even make a difference. I'm hoping that goo gone or some other product will remove it. I have not and do not plan on using this item hitting anything so I do not know the quality when it comes to that.

I bought this axe for my 17-year-old son, who aspires to be a Viking, and loves it. He owns several other medieval weapons, but this is by far his favorite! He could barely put it down, the first couple of days after he received it. I hated paying $10 for shipping, but otherwise it was a bargain!

The axe has a solid, no-nonsense feel to it -- truly, a delightful weapon for hanging on a wall, using in a costume, or just carrying around as an intimidating conversation piece.

The bottom point of the blade is quite sharp -- only the very coolest of parents will be able to bring themselves to buy this for their sons.
