Product Description

Yellow flowers occur in its first year. Base is quite swollen and with stout branching mostly upright with some branching occurring from the lower base. Arid/tropical. Heavy bloated pig-skin trunks produce stout branches tipped with broad leathery lvs; yellow flowers in late winter to spring. Closely related to the Madagascar Palm, Pachypodium lamerii. Great container plant that needs lots of sun. Grows 2-3 feet tall.Native to Madagascar. Also makes a great bonsai!
