I wasn't sure based on the few reviews for older toddlers. However, this bike has been great for one of my twins that chose it based on the color. He wanted it to match his shoes and helmet. Oh boy... well, it turns out to be a better bike for us than the Disney Cars bike my other twin chose. This one seems to have better seat adjustments with the lower cross bar so he can stand on it and get up on the seat without the cross bar hitting him in an uncomfortable way. My boys are fairly tall at 42" for just turning 4, but even a 3 year old would work okay on this bike due to the design.

I only have the Cars bike to compare it to for the same size. I can say both boys peddle this bike much easier just based on design. There are no goofy toes turned out or knees roataing higher than they should be as with the Cars bike. I don't mean to bash the Cars bike either because my other son totally loves it. He just doesn't ride it as well and because of the higher crossbar, if I adjust the seat right for him, the crossbar is an issue for him. He needs his seat raised but it just doesn't work as well as this bike. Merely a comparison again, but feel this bike would be a better fit for both shorter and taller children because of the lower crossbar (if your kids are younger with shorter inseam)..

Only gripe would be it took longer to put together than the other brand bike, but it also hasn't had to been tightened twice since they started riding their new bikes just one month ago.. so quality beats out the extra few items to attach.

Within moments of riding it the first time without training wheels, the pedal broke off from being laid on the ground. Happened to the other side pedal soon afterwards. Just cheap pedals. Everything else is fine. Easy to assemble.
