You may read my summary title then wonder why it therefore got three stars. Basically considering the price of the pillows you probably get fair value. We are furnishing our first house from scratch so have been budgeting accordingly. We each bought a high quality pillow for the top and we ordered these to put below the pillow we actually lay our heads on.

Now dont get me wrong they are OK. Personally i would rather sleep on these than any kind of foam pillow as they just dont do it for me.

The lack of gussett means that they do squish quite easily (as pointed out by previous reviewers. Also the feathers have a tendancy to poke through which can be irritating. After a few days the feathers started to smell a little pungent too, so I guess the inner lining isnt the thickest. We have doubled up the pillow cases on them and as I said they make great extra pillows but I definately wouldnt want them on top of the pile.

In summary, for the price they are adequate pillows. If you can afford to pay a litte more for a little more quality then I would do just that.

I took far too long to replace some old pillows with these. I'm amazed at the difference these make ! They are sooooo comfortable. I agree with what someone else said about them being a bit "noisey", but its really no big deal. I noticed that Amazon lowered the price even further from what I paid, so you can't go wrong with these.

Agree with previouse reviewer. It is fluffy first, when I go to bed. But it will sink, then when I wake up at mid-night, I feel I am sleeping on the bed, not on the pillow. There is no support from the pillow, totally sinked.

I bought these pillows as well as comforters several years ago and they have held up well. Not too firm, not too soft, just right. Good value for feather/down pillows.

Well, they are a vast improvement over my old pillows. One was an almost flat down pillow, the other an over-inflated synthetic fill. The latter was unusable!

These feather pillows are the right loft for me. However, you can feel the texture of the feathers (i.e. the shafts) and they are a little noisy at first. All things considered, you get what you pay for with these pillows. They beat synthetic fills any day, but can't touch a good down pillow. There you go.

These are good quality pillows at a fair price. They are so much better than other pillows that one might have to buy to achieve affordable pricing such as foam rubber fill and other non-feather fills.
