Judy Nunn's career has been long, illustrious and multifaceted. Pacific is an epic. It follows the career of an Australian actress, Sam, who stars in a Hollywood movie about a World War II heroine, Sarah Blackston, an English nurse who lived in colonial Vanuatu, and her special bond with the native population.

I really enjoyed this book and find that Judy has great depth when describing her characters and their lives.

The book easily flows from current time back to historical time. I was keep reading eager to find out how Sam's and Sarah's lives interweaved which each other.
