If you want a light weight easy clean plate set & love the natural wood look go for these. I wish they hadn't been so expensive but I've been looking for several years for wooden dinnerware & finally found them from Pacific Merchants. Be careful with your steak knives on them, they will scratch.

I saw a coffeeshop use a bamboo tray, and I said to myself I needed something similar for my house. So this is the closest thing I could find on amazon because this is pretty much the only place I shop.

I wish it were just slightly longer, because with every coffee cup saucer I have (4 different kinds), I can't fit two saucers only one + .75 (it sticks out the edge and since there are grooves it wobbles arounds so I just stack two saucers if I have to use it). Otherwise, I use this for hot tea and it's perfect for a pot and two small-medium size tea cups or for two regular sized mugs.

Ive had this tray now for months and it has held up very well. It looks great and dispite its weight and appearance has proven itself to be quite sturdy. Acadia hardwood is something i will look for in the future.
