Flavor Name: Oat Verified Purchase
I sought out this product when I realized my toddler was allergic to cow's mlk. As my child is a boy, I was concerned about the effects of non-fermented soy and the plant estrogens that soy milk contains. There was not another acceptable nutritional alternative- hemp and flax contain practically nothing in terms of protein. This actually has 4g protein per serving and 30% DV of calcium. I combined it with coconut milk and it made a doctor-approved whole milk substitute.
The flavor is slightly sweet, but the product does not contain additional sugar, another plus. The only con is the cost, and amazon is about the cheapest way to get it.

Flavor Name: Oat
We have purchased the Pacific Oat Milk products for over a year since it had come highly recommended to us by a friend who is very health-conscious, so I was shocked to read these reviews that they contained carageenen, a known carcinogen. I currently have BOTH the Oat Vanilla and the Oat Regular milks in my home and have just checked them for this product. Neither of the Oat Milk products contain this ingredient.

We find this milk to be a perfect milk substitute! I stock both Vanilla and Regular. Typically, I use vanilla in smoothies, over cereal, or in baking where the recipe calls for vanilla. (I then cut my actual vanilla usage in half.) I use the regular oat milk in cooking and baking when the recipe does not call for a vanilla flavor.

Occasionally I will try different milk substitutes but have found none that live up to the taste and value that the Pacific brand offers my family.

Flavor Name: Vanilla 7 Grain Verified Purchase
I've been concerned recently about the reported dangers of drinking soymilk. Though these dangers are widely debated, I felt I should err on the side of caution. I had tried Pacific Foods oat milk, but there are also; again widely debated, concerns about carrageenan. I finally discovered Pacific Foods organic 7 grain beverage. It is organic; soy and carrageenan free; and much better tasting to me than soy or almond milk. It's slightly sweet and very smooth. I drink it with all the traditional "milk partners", e.g., cookies ,pbj, and cereal. Especially good on cereal, I like to heat it up and pour it over granola. Whenever I'm asked about milk alternatives, which, I grant, is a rare occurance, I recommend Pacific Foods 7 grain beverage. It is the complete package for me, and I recommend it highly for this review

Not a good idea consuming this product. It has carrageenan which is a known carcinogen. Carrageenan is derived from red seaweed and is categorized into food grade and non-food grade. It is reported that food grade often possess a percentage of non food grade. As always, do your own research and educate yourself. The only almond milk that I have found that deosn't contain Carrageenan is Unsweetened SILK almond milk.

This is the best alternative I've found to dairy, rice, almond, hemp and soy. No weird after taste, kids love it, great for baking, thick, delicious. Plus, no arsenic (rice), estrogen (soy), safe for people with nut allergies, hormone, pesticide and antibiotic free (dairy)

I originally tried oat milk as part of a raw diet and didn't realize I'd get addicted! When visiting the grocery store, I always felt weird putting so many boxes of this stuff in my cart, and I was really happy to be able to order this product in bulk from Amazon. Now I can hoard as much as I want! :)

Since I've started drinking oat milk, I've ordered several bulk packages. They are pretty heavy, but I've only encountered issues with one delivery. In one delivery a few boxes were damaged with milk leaking out. I emailed Amazon for a few replacement boxes (and offered to send pictures of the damaged product), and they responded very promptly letting me know that they weren't able to replace individual boxes but had already put in a (free!) replacement order for another bulk order. I was very surprised, happy, and impressed with this customer service.

Very disappointed to see carregeen in the ingredients list. This had been linked to colitis, ibs and colon cancer. Carregeen has no place in the organic industry and i hope it will be removed soon.

Our household has tried the store brand, other national brands, making our own...and I can honestly report that this is our favorite one out there. Most almond milks run toward either too watery or too bitter. Some have even had chunks (eeewwweee). This one is smooth, creamy, and worthy of dumping in your coffee AND your oatmeal in the morning. Amazon's price fluctuates, but if you find it running less than $1.50/box - pick up a case. Its a great buy!
