I can finally cook salmon on the grill! These cedar planks are terrific and give fish a wonderful flavor.Highly reccommended!

I've been buying these cedar grilling planks from Pacific Northwest Fine Wood Products for a number of years now. I used to call them directly and purchase a half dozen packages of 6 so I'd have plenty on hand for summer grilling. They're a great company and these are the only cedar planks I'll use when I cook salmon. Any others I've found are either way too big for the grill or so thin that they can't stand up to the high heat for the length of time it takes to cook the salmon. It's nice to see them here, I'm sure they'll sell many more now.

this wood is really thick and nice to use on the gas barbeque. I love to put fresh salmon with oranges and lemons on and under the salmon. The wood gives the salmon great flavor.
