5.0 out of 5 stars Very Pleased
I recently purchased the Pacific Outdoors Optima 10X32 shoeshoes. I love them ! I have the opportunity to use them everyday for casual recreation. They work equally well in powder and crusty snow. So smooth. Good for uphill and downhill climbing. The bindings are easy on and off. I wear neoprene 'muck' boots and they tighten really well around them. They don't...

These snowshoes, the manufacturer claims, will support up to 275 lbs. BS! I tried them in snow near Grand Canyon, and I sank nearly to my knees! what are the conditions required to meet their claims? I weigh 200 lbs. + 15-20 more for gear. What am I missing? That is, besides the money I paid for these worthless closet denizens.

They don't loosen with walking. Nice crampon system. On occasion, the snow will build up in the crampons but comes off in about 3-4 steps. No complaints here. I also purchased a pair of adjustable Swiss Gear poles and appreciate the added balance they give.

I got a pair a couple of months ago. Just got to use them in the storm that just came through. They work great. Not heavy on the feet. The straps are easy to adjust. Glad I got them.

Had never snowshoed before, but wanted to try, so I bought these. The frame seems nice and solid and the straps hold my boots securely. Haven't had any problems going up hills (I've been doing 3-4 golf holes at a time, including some reasonably steep inclines). Very satisfied with this pair, especially at the sub-$100 price.

I almost purchased one of the Tubbs brand of snowshoes. My wife has a set of Tubbs and loves them. She has also tried my Pacific Outdoors and thought these were just as good. This is a good product for the price and I would recommend them to anyone wanting a little fun and exercise in the snow.

These are AWESOME snow shoes. They are a little heavier than my husbands old pair...amazingly took a little more getting used to than he expected. But great pair of snow shoes....and they work well on packed down snow and ice...

Took a shot in the dark when we got these for my son. At less than $90 they seemed to be the best we could find. Now he has used them, and rated them very high.
